Maybe they could swim? If Walliams can do it...

They aren't caught much, but it just isn't reported, especially at the moment. You think the English Channel is a barrier when the Med isn't?http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2016/may/29/nin...

There was 17 Albanians & a UK murderer found entering Chichester Harbour recently, it did sound like most of them got jailed/deported.
And then there is the iconic picture of the beached people smuggler having a fag.

Today's crowd were also Albanians.
I imagine they were coming here to maintain their country's reputation for producing fine upstanding law abiding people.
With any luck they'll be thrown out shortly ready to make the trip again.
Yes plenty of those fabled doctors and engineers I'd wager. FFS. What is happening to this fking country?!I imagine they were coming here to maintain their country's reputation for producing fine upstanding law abiding people.

What's happening to this country is that our politicians (of all hues) have become staggeringly effective at using trivial things like a little bit of immigration - whether illegal or not - to distract the populace from the fact that they're utterly fking hopeless at addressing the important stuff, such as the astronomical cost of health, welfare & pensions for people born here.Kermit power said:

The State Pension costs around £2,800 per person, and it's going up even faster.
The remainder of our welfare bill excluding pensions is around £3,000.
So just on those things alone, before we consider defence, infrastructure projects, policing or anything else, we're looking at nearly £8k for every man, woman and child to run the country.
Thing is, not every man, woman or child is a taxpayer, are they? I worked the above out using a population of roughly 60 million, but only half that number are taxpayers, so just health and welfare alone are costing £16k per taxpayer per annum.
And you think I'm the one with my head stuck in the sand???
The government must bloody love you!!! You just keep telling yourself that some Albanians in a boat are our biggest problem, 'cause heaven forbid you'd look at the state of the nation's finances, upon which the impact of migrants is but a mosquito bite!
If things carry on the way they are now, how long do you think it will be before the good people of Albania are complaining about people slipping over the border with Montenegro, carrying their only possessions in a couple of battered Waitrose Bags for Life?
Immigration into this country is completely and utterly trivial compared to the way in which the generations since the war have voted for an endless succession of governments telling them they can have everything they want, because their children and grandchildren will pay for it. Well guess what? We're very close to the point at which those grandchildren are going to be saying "fk you, you made your own mess, sort it out yourselves, because we're off to live somewhere without the insane tax burden you've assumed we're going to carry for you".

The UK is fked, but not many can see it. So long as the plebs can "afford" their monthly payments for their mortgages, their leased white Audi S Line diesel, their latest iPhone and so on; they don't give a fk.
But I also believe immigration is a very real and serious issue, not to mention the gradual Islamification of Europe.

Kernite has a point, it's inevitable that the capitalist system will at some point collapse as it can't continue to grow.
We're already seeing this with the youth unemployment levels in many countries driven by huge companies greed and desire to make vast profits with minimal staff.
The finely balanced Ponzi scheme that governments call an economy is all set to burst yet again only this time 2008 will seem like a small blip.
This however doesn't detract from the huge problem of massive illegal immigration into Europe and the follow on illegal immigration into the UK

Yet the government think they know how many people are coming to the uk.

Nonsense
How many do you think are coming in all up and down the coast?Theres probably a hundred of these boats per night coming in to the uk [/quote
Nonsense
Was it justbthat one that happened to get caught or is there likely to be many more?
What about in bigger ships hiding in shipping containers?
On the back of lorries?
In cars?
In the channel tunnel?
On boats, planes and trains using fake passports or someone elses passport that has been posted to them?
Personally i feel that people are just happy to stick their fingers in their ears and just think that was a rogue boat and the only crossing this decade but i truly feel youre wrong
