Thats not good news. I am surprised such a simple chassis as these things have cant be repaired and re-jigged. If the car is written off and you really want to get it back on the road you may be able to buy it back from the isurers. Mine was cat D and i bought it back for 28% of the payout value. Then got in touch with Plasticman who is a Herts and Beds 'occasionaler'. He rebuilds these things so worth a chat.

Well it took a while, but's back to its former glory! Don't seem to be able to post a photo, but it looks fantastic. It's been home a few weeks now and so far so good, although I'm still driving it a tad more gently than I used to. Bring on the summer!
Thats Great to hear! Lisa sends her wishes to you both.Jon
