Mid Essex Christmas Meet Sunday 13th December 09

Hi Everyone,
This coming Sunday is the second Sunday of the month which means another Mid Essex meet and another Mid Essex convoy from the White Hart.
Most will know the drill by now, but for those that don't we'll be meeting at the White Hart as usual from about 11:00 for the main convoy leaving at 11:30, and if you're joining the Southend pose pre meet, at the bays on Thorpe Bay front by the yacht park (between Maplin Way Thorpe Hall Avenue) and between for 10.15 to 10.30 leaving at 10.45 (or thereabouts).
How do I get to the White Hart..?
1) Take the A12 towards Colchester,
2) Turn off at J19 (Boreham) – keep in the left-hand lane,
3) Take the 2nd exit,
4) Follow the road, it turns to a 40mph,
The White Hart is on your left a few hundred yards further on.
If you get to the roundabout, you have gone too far..!
Or just look up the address at http://www.multimap.com - White Hart, Colchester Rd, Springfield, Chelmsford, Essex, CM2 5PG
If any of the Southend boys fancy a Pre - pre meet, Marios 9:15am, for a bit of Brekkie???
I will be leading the convoy from Thorpe bay to the white hart, then Neil Whyman will be taking over

Ps: Silly season is upon us again, so we want to see as many silly hats as possible this year!!!

Yes..tis that time again.

There will be a prize for the funniest/most impressive/silliest Christmas hat.
Usually voted on by the entire mob so look out for some mickey taking!!
There will be a raffle. Donations for the raffle will be gratefully received.
We have a TVRCC Calendar and Castle Sprotscars have donated a rather nice Tuscan of the model variety.......
So..see you all on Sunday for some festive cheer and mincey pies.

Thank you to all those who put forward their names in advance for the carvery. That made Life a lot easier for the Forresters.
And cheers to everyone who filled up the dining room with festive fun and much laughter.
The Chrissy hats were great, the raffle went on forever and we raised £106 towards our pot for the Air Ambulance.
Good to see our Bucks friends and it was just a super Meet.
Del, missed your smile at the Meet mate....hope whatever pet is poorly recovers soon.
