Hi Everyone,

This coming Sunday is the second Sunday of the month which means another Mid Essex meet and another Mid Essex convoy from the White Hart.

Most will know the drill by now, but for those that don't we'll be meeting at the White Hart as usual from about 11:00 for the main convoy leaving at 11:30, and if you're joining the Southend pose pre meet, at the bays on Thorpe Bay front by the yacht park (between Maplin Way Thorpe Hall Avenue) and between for 10.15 to 10.30 leaving at 10.45 (or thereabouts).

How do I get to the White Hart..?

1) Take the A12 towards Colchester,
2) Turn off at J19 (Boreham) – keep in the left-hand lane,
3) Take the 2nd exit,
4) Follow the road, it turns to a 40mph,

The White Hart is on your left a few hundred yards further on.
If you get to the roundabout, you have gone too far..!

Or just look up the address at http://www.multimap.com - White Hart, Colchester Rd, Springfield, Chelmsford, Essex, CM2 5PG

If any of the Southend boys fancy a Pre - pre meet, Marios 9:15am, for a bit of Brekkie???

I will be leading the convoy from Thorpe bay to the white hart, then Neil Whyman will be taking over
From there.

Any questions please PM me,
Regards,
Steve

Ps: I know its a little on the Chilly side!!! But if the roads ARE Ice free, would be good to blow out the cobwebs out of your P & J's (and Roofs down where possible please) !!!

Hello Folks,

Well the weather is upon us and the little roads in my own village are really bad.
Gt Totham is worse as I understand.

I know that you won't bring out the TVRs in this weather and I cannot see anyone wanting to travel out in this unless they have to and certainly won't want their families in the car.....
So, for the first time since being an RO I have taken the decision to cancel the Mid Essex Meet on Sunday.

I know the weather may improve.
It's not the A12 that gives me concern., it's all the little roads off the A12.
Even if the weather does get better it is likely to be slippery and dangerous and I really can't see us having some warm sunshine any time soon!

Given also that I am now being asked to predict numbers for the carvery...well...it's a nono every which way!

I always end my mails by saying Take care and keep safe.......and following that wish

The...MID ESSEX MEET IS CANCELLED ON SUNDAY.

Hugs to everyone and I hope to see you in February.
