Saw your post re Spa - good news!
Speak before BSG - or the other title 'A British Affair' smile.
Bit concerned about your Cerb's appetite for oil confused That must be a bigger bill than fuel! yikes

Yes! Lots of ideas in the offing! tongue out
Like I was saying at the weekend I'm trying to get to as many things as possible this year, but especially looking forward to Spa cloud9

A British Affair sounds great apart from the fact I'm not married wink

I'm sure the guys at Automedon shall get to the bottom of the oil consumption problem so no need for worry.

Keep me posted with your ideas please.smile

Hi everyone, it was great meeting some of you at Then Manor Hotel. Amazon, Clive f, Dan, Zippy, Tony, Tony, Dead Spider, Lou4010 and a few others I can't remember right now.
Sorry we had to leave early Sunday as my 6ft 10 and a half chauffeur fell ill so we had to get him to hospital.
I've almost got my car back together now so hopefully I'll see you guys soon at the next run out.

Hmm...............I'll be the Scottish mate with the extra linen and strange car cleaning methods then shall I laugh

Just got home about half past midnight and had a thoroughly good time made even better by meeting some genuinely nice people, Andy and Donna,Clive and Sue (if you only have toast for breakfast you can cut your time down to 15 minutes wink),Steve and Lisa,Bob,Mick and of course not forgetting saleswoman of the year Nicky wink T-shirt is fantastic smile

Really looking forward to the growl now,if the car is ok of course laugh
wavey Great to meet you Tom! smile Glad you're pleased with the T-Shirt. And you got home safely too - you see - your Cerb is back on form now! Be seeing you in Spa then! tongue out
wavey Nicky nice meeting you as well, Spa is a definite as will Roar and the BSG and yes the Cerb got me home (albeit it only just) Has used 4 litres of oil in 2 days sadly. Love the T-shirt thumbup Are you likely to be adding to your range of products?
I did notice following you to Chatsworth on the Sunday your Cerb was kicking a lot of cr4p out the exhausts, especially the left pipe! Sounded damned good when it over-runned though, not so much a series of pops and crackles but more a single huge BANG that I felt through my car.

Hi Earl,

It was great to meet yourself & Pete as well. I hope he gets better soon as by the sounds of it he's not having a great time of it at present.
I'm right in the middle of you both in St Neots so if you ever fancy a run out let me know.

wavey Hi Earl smile

Hope your Chauffeur has recovered? Sounds a bit serious! I didn't hear anything about it on Sunday.

Look forward to seeing you again in your own car smile.

I'll pass on your kind comments to Pete, cheers. he's just text me to say he's not great, very very weak. He's had pneumonia before and was conserned it might be back, went to hospital they diagnosed it as viral influenza. either way can't be easy being 6 10 with with a slipped disc too.
Zippee - definately up for a spin out sometime soon, I'll let you know.
Tom - good luck with your car mate.
Amazon - was lovely chatting with you.
see you all soon.

It was the passenger side camshaft that snapped so hopefully it's just clearing itself out.

Guys

Feeling a little better today and thanks for the kind wishes, much appreciation to Earl for getting me home (I knew he'd drive a Griff at some point during the weekend!)
Absolutely gutted to miss Sunday, can't believe I'll have to wait a whole year to do it again.
Great to meet all of you and look forward to seeing some if you locally soon.

I thought I saw an Orange Lotus go up the drive on Sunday and was thinking it was you but I think it was an Elite but not knowing my Lotus's I could be wrong. Looked good though.

I text Pete last night, he says he's feeling a lot better now. Shouldn't be too long till he's folding himself into his Griff 'Oscar'

See you soon.
