I guess before we decide on a meeting point we need to decide a route. Best for me would be via the A14 across to the M1 (would also miss out the southern half of M1s roadworks). Only 4 days to go now so I guess we need to sort something out pretty soon.

I've just had to bail out...... something is not right with my car after chasing Chaz's supercharged chim this weekend...... doesn't sound healthy.

What about the BP service area at Brampton Hut? Then we can drive at the legal limit along the A14 before heading up the M1?

Yeah A1 / A14 services (McDonalds / BP) is fine with me. All we need to do now is arrange a time and route from the services.

I intend to join the TVR Car Club Chatsworth Gathering Derbyshire Run, which is leaving Chatsworth Calton Lees Car Park at 11.00am. I think it will take us 2.5 hours to get from the BP service area at Brampton Hut to the start point. So we will need to leave the services at 8am (leaving us spare half hour) to get to the start point in plenty of time.

I will be at the BP Service area (Brampton Hut) A1m / A14 at 7.30am to have a quick coffee before leaving at 8.00am to get to the Chatsworth Start point.

7.30am Arrive BP Service area (Brampton Hut) A1m / A14
8.00am Leave BP Service area (Brampton Hut) A1m / A14
10.30am Arrive Calton Lees Car Park Chatsworth
11.00am Leave Calton Lees Car Park Chatsworth with the rest of the car club on the run
12.15pm Lunch Stop The Bear Inn Alderwasley
3.00pm Arrive back at Calton Lees Car Park Chatsworth

Then head off to Manor House Hotel to Check In and have a few beers with fellow Tivvers.

Sorry to hear that Steve - you said all didn't seem right afterwards. But as someone who was right on your tail for that bit, nothing looked or sounded odd, no bangs no sounds of missing - just seemed to pull like a train. Is it missing?

Not sure which day I'm going but will have a spare seat if you're up for it.

Sorry if I sounded a bit distracted when you called last Sunday morning. Along with two others, I was trying to find the rest of the Herts & Beds lot with whom we'd been out on a hoon!! Unfortunately they'd somehow disappeared (last seen getting smaller in our mirrors )
