The Griff Growl 2010 will be held at Ettington Chase as has been the last 4-5 years, and will be from Friday 30th July to Sunday the 1st August 2010.
HOTEL BOOKING
Rooms can be booked by calling 0121-712-7601 and quoting "GRIFF GROWL" to obtain the preferential rates, which are £65 (double room B&B) and £55 (single room B&B). The hotel is modern and the rooms are big and clean, and the price includes breakfast and the use of the facilities (pool etc). This is the link to the web site for Ettington Chase:

Please ensure you get a booking reference when you book. If you book via their web site or a 3rd party web site you will be charged much more than the deal that has been negotiated - be warned. You will only pay when you check out - you are only reserving a room when you book. WEEKEND FORMAT
Friday - meet and greet from about 11:00.
Pub lunch (12 - whatever time we can get away with)
Evening - curry run into Straford
Saturday - rolling road, traders, tyre kicking, noise competitions, corner weighting, treasure hunt, technical talks - tbc, general chit chat and tomfoolery. More to be added.
Evening - Hog raist at the hotel
Sunday - recovery day, traders, rolling road, tyre kicking, goodbyes, wrap up around 16:00.

CORNER WEIGHTING
New at the Growl...4 Corner weighting for Charity
A well respected person in TVR circles has kindly donated his Saturday for the charity to provide 4 wheel cornerweighting.
So you bought your fancy bits and fitted them and it still doesn't handle as you expected. It may be a whole host of things so get the corner weighting checked and give your car it's 15 mins of fame! for £10.00 only.
Initially on a first come first served basis with options to take this to the next level (more money in the pot for charity) and look at doing some adjusting, when/if the time allows.
Roll on-roll-off 4 corner race scales giving you the facts, on hand is the operator to go through the process.
OFFERS OVER THE WEEKEND
CAR & BIKE INSTALLATIONS (CARL BAKER) - Jobs booked or items bought at the Growl will be discounted by 10%.
TORQUE V8 - 10% off orders taken at the Growl.
CURRY RUN INTO STRATFORD
We'll be doing the usual curry run into Stratford on Friday night, which has proved very popular and a great way to kick off the weekend so please book early.
Pick up at the White Horse pub 19:00 to arrive at the curry house for 19:30. Coming back will be 22:30 departure for arrival back at 23:00. The meal will 3 courses - mixed starters, any main meal and any nan or rice from the menu.
£18 per head in advance to include the return coach trip and the meal. Drinks & tip are extra and to be paid for by yourselves by table. Please contact Andrea Bennett (Mrs FFG) at andrea.bennett@BAMnuttall.co.uk to book.
HOG ROAST SATURDAY NIGHT
Apologies for the delay in getting the Saturday night sorted but we've had some logistical issues which are now resolved. It's something we've not done before but should be great - a hog roast!!! We've organised for a big pig to be cooked at the hotel by outside caterers and will include salads etc. The hog roast will be at the hotel so no need to go off site.
We've booked a room which will hold 150 people and the hotel will set a bar up in the room. The room opens out onto the front of the hotel so hopefully it'll be dry and warm and we can enjoy some al fresco eating. It's a more informal affair without the band so more opportunities to chat. The auction will still take place so please book your place now. Tickets are £10 a head so please contact FFG to book - paul.bennett@cevalogistics.com.

ROLLING ROAD
Crazy Horses Racing will again be running the rolling road for power runs on both Saturday and Sunday. Slots will be allocated in 20 minutes slugs on a first come first served basis from 08:30 both days finishing at 5pm Saturday and 4pm Sunday latest. There will probably be a chance to squeeze additional runs in over the weekend but this isn't guaranteed. Costs will be £35 each slot for which you will get a bhp/torque graphs and maybe some smart arse advice from Gary (at no extra charge). Cheque/cash payable to Crazy Horses on the day so if you book please let us know if you cancel so we can allocate slots to reserves. Bookings to Andrea (Mrs FFG) at the above e-mail address. Please state name, reg, mobile number and also your preferred timeslot.
MERCHANDISE
Sharon has kindly agreed to do the merchandise again and anyone who has previously ordered items will know they are top quality and not your usual rubbish. Sharon also owns a Griff!! All items to be preordered via Shaorn at sharon@motormugs.co.uk
