Its only a couple of months away now, so lets get the ball rolling and see if we can get a list going of those who want to come along.

the venue is Snetterton race circuit, details of the circuit here http://www.motorsportvision.co.uk/snetterton/circu...

Saturday 29th May to Sunday 30th, there is a full programme of racing on over the weekend as well as the TVR racing, so a good variety of racing on offer.

you can buy a weekend ticket online for £16 per person, camping is free, yes FREE.Camping is infield of the circuit itself.
there is a cafe onsite which opens for breakfasts from 7.30am, and a bar for later on

so if you fancy a pre growl get together and enjoy watching some motor racing, get your tents and bar b ques out, pack some beers and come along, if we get some decent weather it good be a very enjoyable weekend.

you don`t have to have a griff to come along, any tvr is most welcome.

Mark, the Growl's a bit later, this is a pre-Growl meet - should be great too. thumbup

FYI FFG on TVRCC said:
The Griff Growl 2010 will be held at Ettington Chase as has been the last 4-5 years, and will be from Friday 30th July to Sunday the 1st August 2010.

HOTEL BOOKING
Rooms can be booked by calling 0121-712-7601 and quoting "GRIFF GROWL" to obtain the preferential rates, which are £65 (double room B&B) and £55 (single room B&B). The hotel is modern and the rooms are big and clean, and the price includes breakfast and the use of the facilities (pool etc). This is the link to the web site for Ettington Chase:
http://www.principal-hayley.com/venues-and-hotels/...
Please ensure you get a booking reference when you book. If you book via their web site or a 3rd party web site you will be charged much more than the deal that has been negotiated - be warned. You will only pay when you check out - you are only reserving a room when you book. Any problems please ask for Rachel Thomas in the first instance and if you get no joy please let me FFG (FlipFlopGriff) know.

WEEKEND FORMAT
Friday - meet and greet from about 11:00.
Pub lunch (12 - whatever time we can get away with)
Evening - likely to be a curry run but will be confirmed later

Saturday - rolling road - tbc, traders - tbc, tyre kicking, noise competitions, technical talks - tbc, general chit chat and tomfoolery. More to be added.
Evening - BBQ or meal somewhere - tbc

Sunday - recovery day, traders, rolling road, tyre kicking, goodbyes, wrap up around 16:00.

Not sure yet Clive, might travel over Friday for something else, and there is a perfect hotel near by called the Griffin Hotel for that night!

Mrs F going?

Where did you book the tickets?
