Just found out about some special prices from CircuitDays for TVR's at the following Trackdays:

Rockingham - International Circuit - Monday, 14th June 2010 OR Tuesday, 10th August 2010.

Silverstone - South Circuit - Friday, 16th July 2010 OR Friday, 27th July 2010

£159 (Standard price £199)

I haven't driven either circuit, but Silverstone dates are better for me

Hi Mike - you were okay at Rockingham weren't you - so I'm sure that Silverstone will be fine - however, will try and find out just to be sure. (I got on at Silverstone no problem and people think of my car as being on the loud side).

the noise limit at silverstone is 105db.

They won't be on the TVRCC trackdays or forum links - because they are not TVRCC events

They are run by a Trackday company called Circuit Days They are just doing a special price for TVR's on the above dates.

Thanks for the clarification Nicky. I've checked out the website and they have tuition available and sessions for novices like me so I am up for it.

I would much prefer to go with TVR friends from Hert & Beds and Cambs if possible so the June 14th date may not be the best and it clashes with Le Mans as Lewis reminded us.

At the moment I am ok for any of the 4 dates.

Hi Chas/Nicky. I quite fancy joining you on this. I've checked their website & they have the right approval for my insurance. June 14th is no problem for me but any of the dates should be fine, although the Rockingham track layout looks pretty interesting.

Hi Mick - great to hear you would are up a trackday! We should start getting a list together - I need to think about which dates - 10th August appeals as it's close to my birthday and I can justify it even more easily!

Lewis - I am not massively experienced with Trackdays, but I've done a few now - you'll have a great time whichever circuit you choose - I'm sure!

Instruction is always available to help you get the most of your day as well.

If we are going to get a few of us together for one or more of these events, it's best to book sooner rather than later, so that someone isn't disappointed. However, I don't know if there is a time limit on this special price - I will check .
