Hi all,

The Hants TVRCC aim to achieve a turn out in force by TVR at the Goodwood Breakfast Club on 27 June. If you have not been I can assure you that these can be one of the best free events in the country with a huge range of cars on display. None will outshine a TVR though! The theme is Softop Sunday – a taste of British Summer but that should not deter TVRs of all models joining us for this event.

There will be a number of rendezvous points depending on where people are coming from so please join us if you can. There are convoys starting from Portsdown Hill and Midhurst that I know of but there will no doubt be more. Let’s make it a day that Goodwood will find hard to forget!!
Regards

Steve Shaw

I'm discussing coming down to this with a mate in our Chimaera 450's thumbup

We're also talking to another "local" but he is a Griff owner so it's taking a while for the question to get through biggrin

Hey ho, great that you might be able to join the party. Appreciate the difficulties in getting your question understood too wink

There are two great Breakfast Club meetings in June. The first being Supercar Sunday on the 6th and the second, Soft Top Sunday, brought forward to the 27th because of the Festival of Speed. TVR's always have a good turn out at Goodwood, so why not be part of it?

Check the list on TVRCC Hants forum for meeting places etc.

I'm still in the process of organsing my trip down and have seen a few threads about queuing etc when you get near to Goodwood for these events. Do you have any opinion on this (good or bad) or is there a time when it does get busy that we should aim to arrive before?

Cheers.

It does get busy and queuing is part of it, but if you come from the north you go down to the roundabout before joining the queue, cutting out a lot of time. I would say to get there before 08.00.

I agree with railman, get down early as this will be a busy one but it will be worth it.

Or of you are a lazy git, get down later. I usually bowl up about 1030 and drive straight in. Still lots to see there and you can have a breakfast somewhere beforehand and go home with all your arms and legs wink

I was looking at the interest for the Super Car Sunday meeting on the 6th June, and there is a huge run of over 100 cars coming down from Guildford starting at 07.00. I thought I may wait in Petworth for in to come by.

Yes leave early but don't forget the local plod are up and about early especially in and around Petworth when they know the Breakfast Club is on, they had a few last year IIRC. Don't forget though this Sunday coming 6th is Supercar Sunday which is even more interesting
