Have to agree, anyone interested go to the S club forum and click on the topic Newark car show, lots of disscussion, and a link to details of the show. S club 2008 was held here, and a great event it was, we even took best stand in show, there is lots to do, loads of trade stands, as Tinks says free camping, and a bar and entertainment on site for the sat eve. This is not an official TVR event but would make a great weekend venue for a meet of all models of TVR Im pretty sure the event organisers would love a field full of Tivs, and possibly an organised drive out for an hour or so on the sunday just to give all attendees that TVR noise experience. Hope to see a few of you there, and camping/ a few beers sat eve, Tom. P.S fOR CAR AND DRIVER EXHIBITING AT THE EVENT, ENTRANCE IS FREE INCLUDING CAMPING.

You're right it's a great show.

The East Mids region of the TVRCC has had cars there the last couple of years. In 2008 it was part of the S-Club event and last year we had a small display of cars in the same area.

Our plan this year is likely to be a proper display on the Saturday and hopefully sort a space for those interested on the Sunday. We probably won't do a full display on the Sunday as the TVRCC Pre-80s event is next door at Newark Air Museum on that day and most members seem to be interested in that.

If we get the space anyone with a TVR would be welcome to join us.

Does the Sunday not clash with an event at Harewood House, maybe that's why there's less local interest than expected, that said if i can get permission from Mrs Pursyluv I would like to come to Newark on Saturday and go to Harewood Sunday.

I've contacted the organisers and there will be a dedicated space for TVRs to display. The East Mids TVRCC region will put on a display on Saturday with cars, gazebo and flags etc. Any TVR owners are welcome to join us. On Sunday most people seem to heading over to the TVRCC Pre-80s event at the air museum.

Where was the TVR club stand last year, I missed the show due to the wedgefest.

I'll probably come up in the Griff - providing the weather is OK and since I don't have to book anything I'll decide the day before.

And I'll probably get my mate in his Chimaera to come out too.

We've both been a couple of times and quite enjoy wandering around the esses and other less interesting stuff
