I dunno, he's still a bit new - when they were filming it (and it would have been pre-season) he would have been a bit of an unknown. I hope it's fingers TBH.

I know it is sad, but I am genuinely excited. Love it, even when it is at its worst. Except for that crap in the snow with the combine harvester, that was rubbish.

E-type sounds great, as does this speak of a BMW 850, love them!

They've already driven a "modern interpretation of the e-type" here

I've got tickets to the studio part of the filming for one show this series. I'm guessing others here have been, any tips/advice? I've already heard it gets very hot/cold in there depending on weather and you stand a lot, so will be taking comfy shoes etc. Anything else?

Cheers smile

I hope you're right as JC is on record as saying the Eacle E-Type is one of his all time favourite cars...if I ever win the lottery I will be buying an Eagle amongst other things! It could be the Growler E though ? http://www.evo.co.uk/news/evonews/265312/growler_j...

I meant the first series of 'new' Top Gear which did not feature James May and was not bad iirc.

Now that I like, an E-Type where the wheels actually look like they belong on the car, not the usual "body perched on a Morris Minor chassis" look that the original E-Types have... biggrin

The TG mag says it's the Eagle Speedster.
Also looks like there will be a feature on a rally team made up of wounded soldiers, all amputees training for the Dakar.

I am expecting a woosh parrot here, but you can clearly make out "Pirelli P6000"...
