Three sequels to Prometheus now, Alien: Covenent is the first in 2017, all leading up to the 1979 Alien in the storyline. http://www.denofgeek.com/movies/alien-covenant/380...
I can't believe he thinks he can stretch the franchise for another 3 films. Not least because he is 77. He will be knocking on 80 by the time the next film comes out.

^^^^This, I should be delighted at the news of 3 more Alien films, instead it fills me with a sense of dread.

And?
And he may be pushing daisies before making the next 2. So we will end up with a st sequel to a st film that doesn't tie up to the alien franchise that most people hoped the first film would.

You remember the totally unrealistic would never happen in real life scene in Prometheus where they ran away from a toppling spaceship in the direction it was falling?

Makes a good drinking game. 1 shot per plot hole. I've never been so drunk.

It's a running joke in CinemaSins: "the Prometheus school of running away from things.".

Been there too - t-shirt received! It does improve but only because ones expectations diminish accordingly smile
