Just finished watching it. The best film I've seen in a very long time - solid storyline, almost all the development is logical. Really wasn't expecting it to be so good.
Except Caesar suddenly being able to speak with apparently a normal voice at the end - that really came out of nowhere, considering he'd been pushing it at 'No' and a few other choice words up until then.

Saw this last night, overall i really enjoyed, although the director took some liberties with the plot during the jump in time, you will have to suspend your disbelief, even for a sci-fi! Brian Cox and Freida Pinto added very little other than their name or looks, Caesar stole the film completely, an amazing array of complex emotions and expressions. 8/10 for me.

SPOILER: He gained the ability from the last super heavy dose of the drug he bombarded the place with to make the monkey's smart.Except Caesar suddenly being able to speak with apparently a normal voice at the end - that really came out of nowhere, considering he'd been pushing it at 'No' and a few other choice words up until then.

But he doesn't demonstrate it until the very end? His speech in between the heavy dosage and the line 'Caesar is home' is very much single almost-words, but then suddenly he pulls out a very human-sounding line.Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
