Same here! Remember the originals well. Good special effects.

Saw it on Fri.

Enjoyed it mostly.

A little far fetched in places but I guess thats the nature of the film.

Have to say CGI is superb.

I've just been to see this and to be honest I really wasn't expecting much after the slightly ropy trailer but...... I really enjoyed it. Seriously, give it a go, you do get past the CGI'ness of Caesar!

Really enjoyed it too - especially the little nods to the original incl 'that line' and the newspaper clippings showing the launch and subsequent loss of the spacecraft Icarus. The film rattles along at a good pace too. The only casting that grates a little is Freida Pinto - she just didn't seem right for the role.

I thought the Apes stole the show - the other actors weren't anything like as good. Star overall was Caesar by far.

I saw it on Thursday and really enjoyed it. I'd watch it again when it comes out for rental/purchase.

Well I must be the only person who thought it was awful.

I wasn't expecting much and was willing to make the usual sci-fi concessions for plot holes but this took the piss.

st CGI, terrible acting, no actual story, Lithgow wasted and to top it off the air con stopped working when I was watching it which really annoyed me but wasn't the films fault.

4/10

No, you're not the only one. I thought it was pretty dreadful too. It felt like half a film, and not the good half either.

So! how many people left as the credits started thus missing the important end to the film. Same thing happened at the end of Fast and Furious Five.

Is there a bit right at the end of the credits - or are you referring to the bit that's 'during' the credits?

Just after they start, everyone gets up and leaves the cinema and then the film continues, so I sit down the front and watch, then the credits start again.

Cuts to the neigbour that was sneezed on by the lab guy, turns out he is an airline pilot and he's at the airport about to fly an international route. He looks ill and has blood coming out of his nose.

Cuts to graphic showing his airline route and stops and all the other inter-connecting flights which in the end span the whole planet.

Thought this was a nice touch as up to then you had apes living in the forest and humans with all their mod-cons, weapons etc looking fine in the cities.

So now we know how the apes rise.

That was during the credits.

I can't stand extra little bits that appear right at the end (after the mile long list of CGI programmers and film babies). If you can't be bothered to put it into the film, then I'm not watching it.

Well I missed it but they did make it obvious in the movie when that lab guy grossly wet sneezed on the other guy and in a city with the population the size of san francisco thats all it would take

People that leave before the credits deserve everything they get!

Up there with people that are stood up before the plane has finished taxing!
