So......

2 episodes down on season 2 and no bump??

I wasn't bothered by the first episode hence no bump from me but having now just watched the second installment I am ecstatic to see Runkle back to his usual depraved ways! Things are looking up for season 5!

First two episodes were rather tame....bring back the student-stripper plus other interesting assortments...

The first 3 series of this are on Netflix, I've never seen it but this thread just made me put it on my 'to do' list hehe

First one was tame but Runkle's son, following Runkle's ways and the mother, come on that was not tame!

New (and final) series just starting, two episodes in, bang on form.

(Disclaimer - if you thought the original premise of the wastrel artist searching for redemption through a continuous stream of drugs, drink and women wasn't funny, then you won't enjoy this series either)

Not watched the new season episodes yet, really hope it's a return to form as they've been weak for too long.

Sorry, should have said this is in the US.

Set immediately after the prior series - first camera shot is the last shot of the previous episode.

Also, Heather Graham, if you like that kind of thing.

Was a fail of Hank to be chasing Karen yet again, would have been interesting to see the reverse for once.

Not a promising start, it stopped being clever and interesting in favour of cheap slapstick humour.

Will stick it out as it's the last season but ho and hum.

Watched Ep1 the other night, it's just a parody of itself now and has been for a while.

Even Runkle doesn't make me chuckle anymore frown

I must be a bit odd then... enjoying final series every bit as much. I think just two episodes left - I'll be disappointed when it's finished.

Having recently gained access to Mr Murdoch's Sky Box Set facility, I have take the opportunity to finally watch Series 5, 6 and 7.

Frankly I shouldn't have bothered, series 4 was the High Point and subsequent series were progressively worse.

There were moments of excellence in 5 and 6, but 7 was just woeful. Especially the plot surrounding Levon. Even the Fragrant Heather Graham couldn't remove the stink of that storyline.

The Ending was typically Hollywood. Would have been more fitting if Karen had left his sorry ass behind as everyone else was living happily ever after (Runkle and Marcy, Heather Graham and Matey off of The Sopranos, Stu and his Doll, etc.)
