wtf have sky insisted on cropping the screen picture of older ones, we know they look dated they are almost 30 year old!!! does my head in as the ratio can be altered on my tv to fit
Look for the non-HD Sky 1, they should display full screen on that channel. I think it's 17something. Can anyone tell me the name of the episode where Itchy and Scratchy have their usual fight. The mouse nails the cat to a moving escalator. He's screaming as he gets near the top, and then gets dragged under whilst all his fur is pulled off by the grill at the top. He carries on round under the escalator and re emerges at the bottom covered in blood and sinew, with no fur. As he gets to the top, he frees himself and gets off. He picks up his own fleece and drapes it over his battered body. But as he slopes off, he bumps into an anti fur rally and they beat him up.
Only seen it once, and no one else can remember it.

There are so many brilliant moments and characters in the Simpsons but there's one moment that always sticks - when the cops pull over one of the ringers that Monty Burns has got in for the company baseball team and says "I heard they had a murder up in New York City....but you wouldn't know anything about that would you Stevie(I think) Boy???"
I still chuckle to myself when I think of that line.

The lady that gets one of the players to rescue her baby from her burning house, then her dog, then 'oh no, my player piano is still in there!'
And ends up rescuing everything. 'The washing machine goes next to the tumble drier'.
And Daaaaaaaryl..... Daaaaarrryyylll!

Homer learns that he could be admitted to the Stonecutters if he saves the life of a Stone cutter..
Homer - Hey! I saved your life. That egg sandwich could've killed you.... by cholesterol.
Lenny - Forget it, Homer. While it has been established eggs contain cholesterol it has not been proven that they raise the level of serum cholesterol in the human bloodstream.
Homer: Those Egg Council creeps got to you too?
Lenny - Oh, you got it all wrong, Homer. It's not like that.
Homer - You'd better run, egg!

Homer after having the Crayon removed from his brain:
"Who would like to go to the library tomorrow. Notice, i no longer say Lie-Brarey, or Tomorr-ee"
And a great one from Raplh the other day
Milhouse: Anyone wanna be my new best friend?
Ralph: I will!
Milhouse: Great. Finally I'll be the dominant one.
Ralph: Be quiet!
Milhouse: Yes sir.
