My favourite bit was really an entire episode. Only ever seen it once and not sure what it was called (perhaps someone could enlighten me)?

Homer had (accidentally) killed an alligator called General Sherman (I think) and the family had to go on the run and hooked up with some hillbilly types. Where an older mother type had taken them under her wing etc etc. Can't remember how it ended (as it was quite a while ago) but there was one classic line from the older hillbilly woman;

"You're insincere, I like that"!

biggrin
Kill The Alligator And Run

The alligator is called Captain Jack

Remembered another one - Homer's dream sequence of "Flushing Meadows" whilst waiting for his car to be freed from it's clamp between the world trade centres, after drinking cans of crab juice (as he wouldn't drink the Mountain Dew).

top simpsons geeking Shakotan!

My fave bit is in the Thelma and louise spoof, Homer and chief wiggum in the police car following marge and ruth powers.

Ruth: Look, Marge, there's no reason for you to get dragged into this.
Once we lose the cops, I'll let you out.
Marge: Well, I don't think they'll be that easy to lose. These are
professional lawmen, and --
[Ruth turns the car's lights off]
Wiggum: Oh my God! It just disappeared. It's a ghost-car! [slams on
the brakes]
There are ghost-cars all over these highways, you know.
Homer: [timid] Hold me.
Wiggum: [conciliatory] Only if you hold me.

Possibly the best episode ever. Certainly in the Top 5.

The bit in the globex employment video where the tramp turns into a mailbox gets me every time laugh

So many great moments, and in no particular order...

Homer chasing Ned to play pitch and putt, ala terminator style
numerous phone calls to Moe
When Mr Burns forgets Homers name (who shot Mr Burns episode possibly?), then after its written in massive letters in his office, he then says 'who the devil are you?'

loads more, i'll need to edit later when i think...
