I love the 'chilli cook off episode' where Homer trips out on Guatamalen Insanity Peppers.

Damned if i can remember the title though.

'I'm gonna miss the cook off' while doing an impatient dance biggrin
Homer *shakes fist at the sky* : In your face, space coyote!

Marge: Space coyote...!?

The Mysterious Voyage Of Homer
"Maaaaarge...where are my chili boots?"

Oh loads, from memory so please be kind.

Burns upon seeing the Simpsons climbing out of a hatch in his off "What are you doing in my corpse tube" Wiggum climbs out "Did I say corpse tube, I mean innocence hatch.

Burns: "Smithers, bring me my memory eraser" Smithers: Do you mean the revolver sir? Burns "Excellent"

Burns: Smithers, there seems to be some sort of communiqué on that mans blouse.

Side Show Bob falling from the dam screaming so long he has to stop to take breath to scream again before hitting the ground.

Moe teaching his street dancing for defence class.

Pretty much all the episode when Homer gets a gun, especially Moe's 4-guns-in-one.

The scene when the New Jersey Gangsters turn up (looking exactly like most of the cast of the Soprano’s).

Skinner, telling one of Fat Tony's men his mistake was upsetting a former green beret and kicking him, seemed so out of character for old Skinner I pissed myself.

But still the one that leaves me in tears, one of the very very first episodes when Homer and Bart get lost in the wilderness, Homer fashions a pretty good trap for a Rabbit, the rabbit springs the traps and is instantly launched over the horizon.

  • There's one episode I've never seen the end of, it caught the first half-ish on a bit torrent and I've never seen it shown on TV, Homer adopts a flock of Crows (or a murder of crows as he explains to Marge) who eventually turn on him and attack his eye, Dr. Hibbert prescribes medical weed and offers him one of the prescription bongs to go with it, that's as far as I've seen.. I'd love to know what that episode is called.

Also, which is the episode when Homer appears in the 'real world' as a guy in a suit, I always thought it was the Chilli Cook-off episode, but it's not.

I saw this movie about a bus that had to SPEED around a city, keeping its SPEED over fifty, and if its SPEED dropped, it would explode! I think it was called, "The Bus That Couldn't Slow Down."

Reminds me of the spit roasted pig:

'It's still good, it's just a little airborne.'

This thread serves as a reminder to me that the Simpsons has given us so many laughs and, whilst it is nowhere near it's best anymore, we should all be grateful for the laughs the writers provided.

Ranier Wolfcastle putting safety goggles on in the path of acid and the speed quote are two stand out moments for me, just couldnt quote both on phone!

remembered another one, when Homer goes to clown college, pretty much the entire episode is class, but a highlight is when homers sitting at the dinner table speaking to marge and imagining her as a clown.

The one where Homer changes his name to Max Power:

Lisa: Max Power?
Homer: Dynamic isn't it.
Bart: I love it Max.
Marge: But I fell in love with Homer Simpson - I don't want to snuggle with Max Power.
Homer: Nobody snuggles with Max Power - you strap yourself in and feel the G's!
