i was just having a browse through amazon when i spotted a book for Billy Connolly's Route 66, which is supposed to be his new show starting soon on itv1, does anyone have any idea when this will be on tv?

Personally i think billy connolly is brilliant, fair enough he's getting on a bit but still funny, and after watching his other adventure-ish type shows, when he talks about the history and culture of the places he was visiting i thought was always really good! and it's a little dream of mine to grab a harley and travel route 66 sometime in the future so that makes it even better!

so, Billy will be off on his trike down route 66 soon, and will anyone be watching? (i know i will be!!)

Anything like the other 'world tour' series it will be great.

I hope like before this series will show clips of him on stage whilst on his journey.
Does anyone know if he did indeed do any shows while there?

I had a cigar in fox's in Mayfair and Billy was there saying how much fun the filming was, as mad and funny with an audience of 3 and his driver as he is on stage. An amusing day and points to me as I said I'd show my non London boss a couple of interesting places in London smile he's a big Billy fan!

I didn't know the Little Richard Tutti Fruity song was originally about anal sex!

Original lyrics
"A wop bop a loo mop, a good god damn! / Tutti frutti, loose booty / If it don’t fit, don’t force it / You can grease it, make it easy"

hehe

Lots of 'I love this!', no stand up, well done itv you've ruined that concept!

Billy is still watchable mind, would just like to see some of him on stage.
