Never thought I'd say this.........but wasn't it nice to have Steve back this week after yet another week of Tarrant?
(Bloody dreading Miranda Heart in for C Evans next week [??] though.........even considering allowing local radio to make an appearance in the workshop!)

No. Please god no. I'm dreaming this aren't I. She's the unfunniest woman in the world whose voice and high opinion of herself go right through me.

I used to like him a few years back, but he seems to have got complacent, talking all over the start and end of tracks. It really pisses me off.
Save the inane tosh for in between, leave the music alone!

The man is a 'has been' ... in fact, I think the only reason he has remain on R2 is because he's so unstable, he may 'crack' and have some sort of breakdown. He's obviously a fragile individual but he is painful to listen to.

He repeats the news in a format I can only compare to Newsbeat's dilution of the BBC News. The elderly fashion guru, the fake Elvis thing, I mean come on, what an absolute crock.

Give me Tarrant any day, or indeed anyone else but Steve Wright. Dale Winton was a guest host last year and was 100% better. Why does SW still have the same show and the same unfunny characters day after day, year after year? Does everyone who contacts him really begin with 'Dear Steve, love the show....' Why can't he conduct an interview without his lacky? Why does he keep playing songs and then not telling you who the artist was? Why does he keep saying in a very irritating way "key change!" and "I see what you did there!"' Why does he fill my drive home with fking horoscopes? Why is it called "The Big Show" as if it's the highlight of the day?

Still listen to him mind, but only so I can rant at him.

....and another thing. Most DJ's give us useful time checks - Wrighty often just tell us it's, for example, "Autumn 2011". Great, thanks for that.

The only thing worse than the drivel in the afternoons is the 'Sunday love songs'.
