I managed to watch it last night and found it all a bit tedious, 22 minutes in and they'd only managed one round, it's more of a chat show than a quiz with quips now.

DMC wasn't as annoying as she has been but given the benchmark she set in series 1 was so high it wouldn't be difficult to come back in under that, a few weird screeches and table banging but she didn't seem to get the same focus as she did previously. Time will tell on that one.

I'll see what episode 2 brings but the format just seems tired and lacking in quiz now.

DMC seems to have been told to calm down, but she still looks deranged.

On the plus side the misheard lyrics round was made a little easier as we'd all been trying to listen to Rosie in the run up to it.

It seems to be targeting an audience which can be satisfied with,
  • The louder you shout the funnier you are, and
  • The more you swear the funnier you are.
I'm not sure that's the way the world actually works.

Greg’s given up, got pissed and then shouty mumbled his way through it.

And Daisy thought is was a Halloween special.

Nice to see Miss McKenzie after all these years though.

I seem to be in the minority but find it one of the funniest things on TV at the moment, despite DMC.....and even despite Rosie (not funny in the slightest and should come with subtitles) Jones. paperbag
Jamali's annihilation of the people in the line up, and Gregs 'I can't believe you just said that' reaction are brilliant, and just the constant drilling home of a stupid joke at the 'has been pop stars expense, it's nearly back to Mark Lemarr levels. hehe

I find it funny too, I think Greg is doing a good job hosting the show, some of his one liners make me snort whatever I'm drinking! biggrin

Series 3 of the reboot on Sky started this week, although I haven't started watching it yet.
