Just wondering what has met your memories and what hasn't from when you were younger.

Has: Short Circuit 2. Still got a bit sad when they hurt J5, and excited when he turns all badass!

Hasn't: Pump up the volume. I loved it when I was about 13 (1996-7 ish) But it was made at a time when Myspace/Facebook/Twitter/Blogging etc were barely thought of. Certainly not mainstream. So at the time, the thought of one guy going against the grain to get his message out via pirate radio was fantastic.
Now every man and his dog can start a whinge on the internet. Shame, because it's still a good film, albeit of it's time.

Has: Airheads. Though possibly just because of fond memories of when I was DEFINITELY going to be a rock star and change the world. I still love his "I AM rock and roll!" speech.

The Last Starfighter I thought was cool .... not so much these days....

Stargate, still pretty damn good IMO.
Zulu - still ace
Lawrence of Arabia - still stunning.

Happy Gilmore - Thought it was the funniest thing ever when I was 18, now it barely raises a smile.
