What an amazing film biggrin
Loved every minute of it. Don't think there were any sketchy moments.
Hawk and Black Widow played a part I think.
Think it'll take something exceptional to improve on that.
Part of me is saying, 'don't make a sequel as it may dissapoint' part of me is saying 'bring on the next fight!'
Get to the cinema people!

Incredible film, I can't believe they fitted all that in. Some breathtaking moments for a comic geek such as myself. I wonder how many PHers are also big enough geeks to get the bit after the credits.

Thought Cap was perfect as I wasn't convinced in his own film, really like Widow but Hawkeye could have done with some more time. Thor and Hulk made out cinema erupt with laughter as did Hulk again a bit later. Really good stuff with a amazing cast, fantastic creative minds. Thanks Stan!

Hulk/ thor and hulk/loki fights had me roaring. The bit where loki and hulk face off is genuinely very, very funny. Proper hulk.

Definitely, yes. Thor is probably the movie with the most relevant back-story to Avengers.

Really enjoyable film, although I think it's probably best to watch all the 'solo' character movies first, which is no great ordeal. Good action scenes, a decent balance between the characters (IMO it could have become 'Iron Man 3' too easily), and lots of humour sprinkled into the mix:

'Loki is beyond reason, but he's of Asgard and he's my brother.'

'He killed 80 people in 2 days!'

'He's adopted.'

Excellent film and will be watching it again with the fancy new DBOX moving seats next time.

Loved the Galaga bit and Hulk really does steal the show.

Oh bloody hell, I thought this thread was about Dianna Rigg and Joanna Lumley frown

Surely the comic book movies have hit saturation point now? It seems any "big" movie these days is Captain someone or other or Robotman or something.

Maybe I just got old. Although I guess in my day we just had Superman I, II, III, IV, V, and Batman on the telly.

Utterly brilliant!!

Every character was note perfect, Cap really came into his own in this one, Stark is the character we love, Thor superb, the assassin twins showed their metal but Hulk.......

Seriously Wheedon always said he was a Hulk fan and it shows as for me Hulk totally and effortlessly steals the show. He also gets the two laugh out loud hilarious moments that made the whole cinema erupt with laughter.

Thank you Joss, you clearly are a comic book geek and gave us the Avengers we (and you) clearly wanted!

Review, followed by spoilers.
There always seems to be a need in some people to ignore the fact there's no spoiler alert in the thread title. They then don't use spoiler tags when giving away really quite good lines. I don't know whether its some displaced superiority at having already seen the film, trollish behaviour, or just abject fking stupidity.

Cheers for that you fking tard.

Does widow get a great fight scene like she did in Ironman 2?
