As far as I am aware, the actual safety figures for ice road truckers isn't that bad at all. On fact, NO truckers have died as far as I can see. The most dangerous job is ploughing the road initially.

What false peril? Someone died in that trailer! Well some sheep definitely did!

This isn't the usual "ice road truckers" deadliest voiceover, they're actually on dangerous roads now! Can't see them putting up with real danger for long!

I'm not surprised! If they had to face real danger instead of faux danger with the deadliest voiceover then I'm not shocked that they bailed!

I did a quick google and over 30 people have died on deadliest catch since it began! Now that's deadly!

Alaskan fishing OS the most dangerous job in the world. However, that only seems to be because they seem very cowboy about the whole thing.

I found it on the history channel of all channels and tracked the first episode down online to decide if I was going to go and buy the rest of the series.

Looks quite good and gives a real idea just how bad driving is out there in places like india and egypt were common sense and the value of life seem to be lacking.

Sorry, but if they're the "worlds toughest truckers" why are they stting their pants over a road? Sounds to me like the chaps that drive that road are the toughest truckers.

I don't know about tough as they still die when having a big one. Or at least maimed, I'd imagine.

ETA: But Yes, they are soft in comparison.

Poor old Alex is not having much luck either. Collected a door and the side of a car before leaving the city. hehe
