Yep, a lot of love and devotion has been invested and hope the payoff is the equal.

Dunno if the one on tonight is a repeat but I didn't like it. £450k for a very dark interior (even with all the lights on) and a train track yards away

Some nice features but it's a huge project to take on.

It looks like it might be one of those builds that never quite finishes. Fingers crossed for them.

I see Kevin McCloud popped around earlier when George wasn't there.

Stressed out with a build that is taking it's toll physically and financially ?

Having a baby might not be the best timing.

Largely ruined it in my opinion, the balcony/mezzanine/offset bedroom cluster thing just wrecked the lines of the big space, and they didn't have the budget to do the building justice. Got a bit overambitious I think. Hats off to the effort he put in but at the same time he was lucky not to have done himself serious injury with the stupid working hours.

Amazing views from the bath but I thought the bath itself looked really uncomfortable (not to mention expensive to fill!).

And was it just me or did that balcony rail look really low? Looked like George could have fell over it at any second! Presume it was compliant with whatever building code applies but I'd be watching my kids near it I think!

I can't see that as being signed off by building control - balustrades have to be quite a lot higher than that.

ETA: Minimum of 900mm I believe.

I do sometimes wonder about the costs they claim for these restorations ...

However, that guy is some grafter!!! Think I need to return my OH for a harder-working model.

I thought it was a ghastly cluster fk inside, all different shades if wood, grey and blue with furniture that made it look like a community centre.
Great building, nasty taste.
