I can't decide whether this is supposed to be a serious drama or a sitcom as it's neither serious enough, nor funny enough, to sit in either camp. It appears lost somewhere between Midsomer Murders and Benidorm.

Am I missing the point, or is this series actually pointless ?

No, I think your assessment is correct. It's just a lightweight who-dun-it with a fairly heavyweight cast.

Ben Miller plays the MET copper just right. Last week 6 suspects, 5 white and 1 black guy

Guess who done it?

It is a bit flimsy but I am finding it light enough to leave my brain somewhere and be entertained. It's harmless and will never be an award winner.

They played to a stereotype. But not the race one.

I thought it was pretty good - not taxing but watchable.

The new doctor on Casualty was killed on her wedding day.A bit confusing.

I've quite liked these 2 episodes though.

Having watched another episode, I've discovered that the actor who plays Dwayne

is actually the same guy who played the cat in Red Dwarf
