I had low expectations but it wasn't even that good.
I applaud the effort and many of the effects, but the story (even in the context of "I know it's about Nazis on the moon") was simply unengaging.
I'll give it 3/10 mostly for the pretty girl.

Watched it last night and wasn't as good as I was expecting really, hoped for a bit more 'Robocop'/'Starship Troopers' style futuristic satire, but it felt a bit flat really. Not too bad an hour and a half, but after first seeing the trailer (and posting it on here) in 2010, it wasn't really worth the wait. The effects were pretty OK, but the sharpness of the comedy and the overall storyline let it down a bit. Think I laughed a couple of times The North Koreans but that was about it. 5/10

I bought it last night in Morrisons. Have to say I enjoyed it. Thought the CGI was good, it blended well with the live action and there were some brilliant lines. In addition to those mentioned above, the 2 stormtroopers commenting on the porno mag was a proper lol moment for me.
I've certainly seen far worse films that were supposedly not 'b' movies.

I bought it last night, sat witb a box of maltesers and a coke and found it decent fair. It was silly, looked good and had some half decent jokes in it, and the blonde was lurvely!
I give it a 6/10 for effort and presentation.
Proper film on saturday though...... Prometheus!

I saw the trailer recently (I knew nothing of the film previously) and immediately thought Wolfenstein.

I loved "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow" (I love diesel punk, Art Moderne, etc). I read back on the thread that people thought there may be some similarities. Are there?

I am 30 mins through watching it and already there are some very funny nods to Downfall and Dr Strangelove.

The Germans love it. Its a big hit there and arguably the most eagerly awaited film of the year.

Iron Sky? Don't bother. Not enough gags for a comedy, not enough barbs for a satire. Double fail IMO. Best of the bunch was the downfall parody.

Bought it yesterday, underwhelmed at first but watched it a few more times and love it now (esp. the brunette - perfect blend of curves and slutiness... )

I've just watched it. I enjoyed it, although it wasn't as funny as I expected. Julia Dietze is almost reason enough to watch it though.

Bloody great I thought, though I agree there was a fair bit of stuff that fell a little flat and could have been trimmed without harming the film. A lot of the humour is subtle and I loved all the references to other movies, many of which are blink-and-you'll-miss-it (THX 1138 for instance) as opposed to the really obvious Dr Strangelove riffs. Particularly enjoyed the whole "Nazis not entirely bad" and "Goodies not very good" angle. Great ending too (someone's played Defcon!) - keep watching to the end of the credits as well.

Can I recommend 'Nazis at the centre of the earth' a very similar concept but a few interesting differences and a good twist very cheesy (gary busey is in it for a start)... but really works

In town today so might try and catch this in the West End. Nice cold, rainy June day so I won't feel guilty being in a cinema. The Raid is on after so might double bill it then head to a pub for the footie.

Bloody Amazon was supposed to have sent my Blu-Ray of Iron Sky on Monday and it's still not here, had hoped to have it to watch tonight (having seen Prometheus this afternoon), tempted to nip into town tomorrow and get a copy and send Amazon theirs back when it finally turns up, seeing as I now won't get it till Wednesday at the earliest.
