Those Buck Rogers starfighters were very cool, but... Wilma or Ardala?! tongue out

Just ploughed through 15 pages of nerdiness and no-one responded?

Has anyone mentioned the "Defiant" the hardest space craft ever? Especially when this guy is playing at Captain

Just think of it as an A-10 Warthog in space biggrin

Kids today! No mention of the early 90's TV show, Space: Above and Beyond??

Hammerhead:

They actually built full scale models of these, and Russian's were taking pictures thinking they were a new US tactical fighter (apparently...)

Can't find a decent picture of Chiggy von Richthofen...
Here is the full scale model thumbup

The minor plot hole surrounding it always annoyed me, when it was introduced one of the crewmen asked why more Defiants hadn't been made and the response was basically "Because it is too powerful" WTF. How is that a bad thing?

Since the Hammerhead has already made an appearance, I'll suggest...

It's like they just took a supertanker and made it into a spaceship. They even stuck some radar antenna thingy where the propeller and rudder should be.

Denise Richards, although she was better in Wild Things.

And the Defiant was crap, the reason they never made another one was the Federation were pussys who wanted to explore rather than fight.

Always loved the imperial shuttle from Star Wars - still got a model of it somewhere.

Also liked this one, but think that may have had something to do with the noise it made.

OZ-13MS Gundam Epyon for being a space badass crazy jap mecha dragon thing.

Sort of pushing the boundary of Spaceship.. but as a 9 year old it did provoke the imagination.

Slave 1 from starwars the next one i guess...I like the sound it made hehe
