This bit from another article is more relevant I think:
Will losing his FFL actually happened before the show premiered; the business entity that was presented to the viewing public by Discover as Will Hayden’s business actually was the LLC that was jointly owned by several of his “employees.” The reason this is all coming to light right now? Vince decided to leave Red Jacket and start his own company.
Vince leaving will have to be on the show but I don't think they'll show anything else as it's not relevant.

New series of American Guns next Monday at 10pm on Disco.
Good news. I've Sky+'ed Sons of Guns and must be nearing the end of the series now (Vince is starting to throw his toys out of the pram over Chris's M16 project).Glad I won't have to wait too long for the next gun fix.
There's been a bit of confusion in the (ahem) 'download community' over the number of the series they are up to but I have seen up to the end of the forth series, which I think finished airing on Discovery in the US a few weeks ago.
In the second to last episode (ep. 6) of what I call series 3 has them making a mortar which they fire over a river at the end. Is that where you're up to?

Just watched the last episode of Season 4...he managed to blow up his business pretty quickly! Is that it then ??
I very much doubt it, the sum total of the financial storm seemed limited to a $45k hole in cash-flow for a month or two, setting aside the whole 'scripted reality' aspect and the probably hefty appearance fees from the Discovery Channel Will has often spouted off about having a $100k's worth of rare and exotic rifles and stuff hanging on his office wall, plus of course a 'Dauce and a half' (which isn't) a sort of baby tank thing and endless other expensive business assets which he could liquidate rather than go belly up and let the liquidators do the same. It's just a cliff hanger for the next series. TBH Will is probably the worst aspect of the programme for me, I couldn't work for him.
Its unfortunate with these sort of programmes that the staged drama eventually overshadows the factual content. Choppers is another example.
For SoGs the Porsche Cayenne episode was the jumped the shark moment for me. So you are going to let somebody drive around in a car with live rearward facing mortars (which cause the rear window to shatter when fired, 'oh well') and roof mounted loaded machine guns. Press the wrong button in the car a you kill everyone around you. Wouldnt be happy sitting behind that in traffic tbh.

I'm sure he's different in real life, but his on screen persona is of a bullying prick, "do as I say, not as I do"
"don't bother me with details / what do you me you did 'X' without asking me!"
Not to mention all the 'minions' who call him 'Sir' and his demand that all his staff to show total commitment and sacrifice for 'the family', but the family thing only runs one way, well unless you're actually Family.
Still, it's all scripted, well that or all owners of medium sized manufacturing businesses in the US are exactly the same, if I was a US reality star I'd go to work for Gas Monkey or Kounts Kustoms, they look a right laugh.

I understood that Flem sets up his own shop too, not sure about the others but I was increasingly finding Flem / Joe / Charlie the best people in the show. I do hope that isn't the end of the show.
I also thought in the latest series there was some very clear editing to make things seem as bad as possible etc. which I didn't think was needed at all.
