Agreed, def the weakest of the three to me. Then again given Brooker and morris were behind Nathan barley I was hugely disappointed by that so perhaps not surprising that I wasn't fussed by this last one. Real departure from the first two and a shame

Ha surprised www.trashbat.co.ck is still running!

Tonight's episode felt a little constrained by being 60 mins given longer there could have been more twists and turns. As it was it didn't have many surprises.

Is there any irony to be found in the fact that, as this went out, 25% of Italians voted for a stand-up comedian known for foul-mouthed rants in their general election?

Really good episode IMO smile
Absolutely! At least it was once all was made clear.
Quality, I really did not see the twist coming. It was properly creepy when the three arrived at the hollow in the forest with the crucified vicitims.

I know. This morning I though Chris Morris was writing the news again.

As I was watching BM last night I was thinking of H'Angus the Monkey, who was elected Mayor of Hartlepool. And also, Roland the Rat, who's 15 minutes of fame preceded the internet and social media.
I might seem far fetched, but if a Roland Rat type character were to use their popularity for a mocking anti-politics campaign, they could do real damage.

Just watched the Waldo one. Not the best I've seen tbh. Thought it was just 'alright'

Incidentally, in the trailers for the series there was a clip of what looked like weird android-people assembling smartphones on a vast production-line, which never surfaced in any of the programmes. Anyone know anything about it?

White Bear was by far the best, then the one about the dead chap, then Waldo (a bit weak). All quality though.

Agreed. Certainly a refreshing departure from the usual tat on the tv schedules.

This one? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ke5AKVtvkdc

I think that was just a general thing for the series, not any specific story, just giving a feeling of the future gone wrong, a bit of a 1984 vibe, which is what Black Mirror is all about. It's got people filming on their phones, and the symbol from White Bear, clips of Waldo, happy couples on holiday (Be Right Back, maybe?). I saw the poster advert a few times too, she wasn't in any of them, nobody had big evil mouths, but its got the 'bad technology' feeling to it.

Yes - actually, now I realise what it is. It all contributes to the plot twist in 'White Bear', as having seen the trailer, that's the world you think she's woken up in at the beginning. Clever that.
