A Muppet Christmas Carol is not just my favourite Christmas film - it is my favourite film of any kind. I have the original on video and that is the one I watch every year as it contains a scene deleted from the DVD where Scrooge is taken back by to a works Xmas event followed by a song (When love has gone) which is a real tear-jerker. Apparently some very young kids found that scene quite distressing

It's A Wonderful Life is probably my second favourite film of all-time (mind you, anything starring James Stewart is always good).

Nativity
Surely "The Santa Clause" deserves a mention
Santa Claus (Dudley Moore as an Elf)

Can we include TV Christmas Episodes?

if so, I'd add
Moonlighting: Twas the episode before Christmas, and It's a wonderful Job
Quantum Leap: A little miracle
and MASH : Death takes a holiday.

Got to be Elf, in fact me and the missus just watched it to cheer ourselves up.
We've probably seen it 10 times now but it always feels like the first time.

5:45pm. Now in fact.

I'm going to see if it can be promoted to second best Christmas film, after Die Hard.

I'd love to say something credible like Miracle On 34th Street or It's a Wonderful life.

But it's Elf. laugh

"Hello, buddy the Elf speaking, what's your favourite Colour"
My 2 yr old had insisted this be on the DVD player everyday for the last week (good job I like it!)
Elf to his brother 'why is your coat so big? Good news saw a dog today! Have you seen a dog? Yes I suppose you have. Do you have a best friend? Does he have a big coat'

Your opinion, obviously, but just in case you'd forgotten;

Moonraker
Die Another Day
Live and Let Die
Die Another Day
Diamonds Are Forever
Die Another Day

are also James Bond films. My opinion is that OHMSS is so much better than all of these put together that I can barely articulate it.
