Need help in remembering a channel 4 series

For the love of god I can't remember the name of it.

It was a some guy who really wanted to taste isolation, so they took him by float boat into deep canada(i thnk) and he set up camp. He was supposed to do so many days but he quit and called for help..

Please for the love of god help me.....
