And as with all the great action movies the hero makes a speech that you'll never forget... I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you. The man himself... Liam Neeson will have a nice line in sequels coming up with the A-Team surely?

The issue has been raised and the minutes taken; Scouse now appreciates that whilst 'Taken' is a revisionary cornerstone of the contemporary take {nay pun} on the revenge story, per se, LN clearly lacks the blatant comedy campness of our 80s denizens, so critical in the more humorous dispatching of slightly over oiled chaps who might come out with lines like " you do not understand a country like Val Verde; it is a country that needs a president who has an understanding of dithipline."

Taken2 in pre-production now, with a cinema release date around Oct/Nov 2012..

Hmm I was really hyped for the first one as it featured a lot of the best action heroes from my childhood, however the reality turned out to be a bit err...rubbish. I think Nostalgia is a fine thing but most of those guys are just "getting too old for this sh*t". Seeing 50+ year old guys with sagging muscles and wrinkles on their wrinkles trying to act like action heroes just didn't really work for me I'm afraid. I'll still watch the second for old times sake but I think sometimes you have to know when to hang up the rocket launcher.

That scene where Arnie "pulls" the door off the Smart Car and then it flies away in a completely different direction on wires?
C'mon? Seriously? Could they not have done that better?

That trailer has made me so excited about seeing this, it will be rubbish, i know it will be rubbish but it will be rubbish that i will probably watch repeatedly. And as for the first film, i watched it somewhere with a very good sound system, the auto shotgun damn near deafened me but it did make me giggle like a child.
