Just a head up as this is on at 9 on BBC2:

Professor Brian Cox presents a specially recorded programme from the lecture theatre of the Royal Institution of Great Britain. With the help of Jonathan Ross, Simon Pegg, Sarah Millican and James May, Brian shows how diamonds are made up of nothingness; how things can be in an infinite number of places at once; and why everything we see or touch in the universe exists.

I'm not expecting it to be too in depth but looking forward to it none-the-less!

Anything science is good. DeGrasse-Tyson is doing a modern version of Cosmos, which I'm looking forward to.

Looking forward to this, Brian is very good at breaking things down for people without a science background. I hope it is a tad easier than his explanation of Higgs at Monkeys Uncaged though confused

If it's not for her comedic talent (ahem) then I would posit that someone in the BBC's diversity department has something to do with it.

Been looking forward to this for weeks.
I'm a huge fan of Mr Cox and Jim Al-Khalili.

You do realise another name for this would be 'Celebrity Science'? They'll be singing next, and maybe dancing a bit, and then viewers can vote them off... bloody 'celebrities'.

This... Making science interesting to the sofa sitters requires something for them to tune into for. However they do it, getting folks interested is a good thing in my mind.
