I have left the Mrs 3 episodes behind now as I simply wouldn't wait!

We have problems when I get out of sync as she often loses interest so I have to force her to watch and catch up.... Want to have someone to discuss it with!

smile

And at least that Ambassador's hubby gets his nuts chopped off now regardless of what happens !

Ps have deleted what could have been a spoiler!!!

Wow what an episode(the latest US one). This series just gets better and better.

Was the ambassador's husband really planning on hanging himself or was there another reason in asking for a belt?

Had to laugh at the Saul/Carrie scene at the shootout:

Saul: "Carrie what are you doing"
Carrie: "I'm trying to kill the motherfkas who are trying to kill us, what do you think I'm doing".
.

Ah, the old 3 car convoy but only 2 RPG available issue that terrorists always seem to have in these situations.

And then they seemingly fail to use one on the car that has the target in it. Who would have thought smile

Meanwhile the most secure building ever has a back door secured by a mickey mouse padlock and no alarm, CCTV, etc.

wink

What???? YOu mean Saul's been captured???? WTF?

Can you not ruin it for me please? smile

Seriously though, it does get very confusing re which episode we are on so IMHO, ep titles or numbers also help; or at the vary least UK vs US smile

And am I the only one that simply cannot help himself and clicks on all of the spoilers anyway???

The latest (US) episode packed in more action than your average Bourne movie.

I'm certainly glad I stuck with Homeland.

It was really good tonight, at the end though I almost expected the clock ticking from 24. Really reminded me of the 24 storylines....

I said exactly that to someone at work today, it was a very 24 style it's all gone wrong, everyone's going to die, full of suspense ending.

I loved it, can't wait for next weeks.

Indeed, after the last series I was about to give up... Cracking series, a la 24.

Do not fk with Quinn, he is a machine. smile

I was hoping to see a little more of his work near the end of this episode, guess that'll be shown next week.

I half agree, but she is just too fking irritating as a main character and too fking mental and too fking hormonal.
It's credit to the writers that it manages to be so gripping despite her, but as long as we have to watch her crying, moaning and bleating week in-week out then it can never be that good I don't think

I'm sure he can find another well fed landlady when he needs one...

I just watched the whole series up to this point over the last couple of days and am pleased to say that it's back to being a really great watch again. Finally doing away with the Brody story line was the best thing they could have done.

I try to watch it without getting into the plotholes as it would ruin it...like the above comments show smile

Ah I think she makes it! She does mental/cold/loyal so well.

Also think this has been the best season ever for Homeland, in terms of sheer drama. This season has got to be right up there with best of any show from recent memory - the only comparables I can think of right now are Battlestar Galactica and final season of Breaking Bad.

^ Was just about to post a Breaking Bad comparison. This season has been absolutely excellent, not sure if it quite matches the First or if it is miles ahead. Homeland as a whole is tied with Breaking Bad for my favourite series. Superb stuff. Can't wait for next week.

Saul is brilliant to watch, and I don't mind Carrie as much as others. The Homeland book on Carrie's previous life (pre Brody) is worth a read.

There is no way Homeland competes with Breaking Bad. Not in a million years. It's been quite good but there has been loads of boredom too. If BB is 9.5/10 Homeland is a solid 8.

As you were.
