Got to agree the credibility of the story line is dropping by the dozen with every passing week...entertaining none the less.

I take it you chaps didn't see the terrorists holding the dead guard's head up to the iris recognition camera on the security door at the end of the 'secret' passageway? Then dropping him once the door unlocked.

It's still pretty poor security, but a fair sight more better than a single padlock.
I did but had forgotten, good point

US episode spoiler:

The finale was a let down, why did they spend so much time fannying around with the long lost mother and even the baby scenes? It all seemed so pointless. Still think this was the best season out of the lot packed full of action however the last episode was the complete opposite - tbh part of me was waiting for something to blow up, Quinn's car perhaps or maybe Saul getting shot dead. Ah well looking forward to the next series.

So the guy in Haqqanni's car is Hill Street Blues. It wasn't obvious and meant a confusing ending to a great episode. Had to get straight on to PH to find out.

Anyhow, I can't see why that stopped Carrie as I'm sure she would like to see him shot. He's a devious old C@nt.

Great series and a couple of cliff hangers to set the scene for the next.

Got to say I somehow thought there was another! To that end it felt very fill- then expected a ore action packed finale so was a bit gutted to find it ended like that! Real waste of an episode, but all in all a very good season which after the poor showing from last season and question marks over how it would look with one of the main characters now dead hopefully has a bright future.

I think it was a deliberate downbeat episode with unanswered questions etc to show that all the crap that happened makes no difference, they are just small cogs in a large machine with no control, no good choices only bad ones and life goes on despite it all (except for all those killed in this series wink )

I spend the whole time waiting for something to blow up, the ginger baby to get snatched or something. But no, it was just boring, boring, boring like they had to write the episode in a hurry or something.

Same here. Complete let down and total sell out/piss-take. Same with a number of other contemporary series I've tried (The Fall). Seems to be the way that the best part of the series occurs in the latter half so writers can set the scene for the start of the new series.

ok i'm not going to look but I thought ep 11 was a bit muddled but it was a great reveal in the final shot...

very interesting and clearly what Lockhart was referring to in his telecon with Carrie.

I thought it lost momentum tbh - really not sure why they introduce a completely new charachter so late in the series and the father things as well - bit muddled. it was a clear pull on Carrie to get home sooner including teh baby scene but it took you out of the plot of the previous few eps completely...

the final EP better be a snorter otherwise file under must try harder....I was hal;f expecting dolph to pop up at any time as it had a kinda cheap feeling to it

The father thing is surely because the actor died in real life

After the build up during the first few epsiodes re Carrie's baby i thought the end of the series would of been her baby being captured which would lead us nicely into the next series.
