I can't believe Saul is falling for any of that, he's been too smart up to now.
As for Quinn - what is he doing?? He's gone crackers
Yeah I couldn't quite figure the storyline for him in that episode. Was all very strange! As for Quinn - what is he doing?? He's gone crackers
I don't see how him turning up at a hospital/doctor put Carrie in any danger as she was already supposed to be dead. It's not like he was too.
Am confused...
...the station chief is having an affair with Saul, whilst receiving instructions from the Russians, and Saul's boss Dar is falling for the deception? Meanwhile the same station chief has put our heroine's name on Quinn's hitlist. And a Russian contractor is hit trying to hit the hitman when he collects his hitlist.

The first person that was on the list (who was shot when she was getting into her car) may or may not have been 'innocent' as well. I didn't recognise her form earlier seasons though.

The first person on the list was an ISIS (or similar) recruiter: she was getting German youngsters to go blow themselves up. No connection to any earlier series as far as I can see, just setting up Quinn's new low-stress role in Berlin after a hard few years doing special operations in Syria. The first person that was on the list (who was shot when she was getting into her car) may or may not have been 'innocent' as well. Oh, it was her? I remember now. I just wondered as I thought she said his name before he shot her which suggested she recognised him?KTF said:

Think it was "Bitte" rather than "Peter".Umm, do we know why Alison is trying to kill Carrie?
And the emotional moment with the Russian bloke in the car park- presumably she's working for the Russians and trying to blame the Israelis? Still not sure how she or the Russians managed to get a bomb on that plane.

You've got me doubting myself now... might need to re-watch it to confirm. Didn't notice her saying his name.As an aside on the general plot I think it'll play out like this;
1. Saul knows that his love-interest is linked to the Russians and he's actually playing her
2. Saul has told Dar about this and they're stringing her along, hoping to get access higher up the food-chain
3. It was somehow in their interests have the Syrian dude killed so they let it happen knowingly, while helping the station chief get deeper with her Russian contacts
Probably way off the mark but it's fun to speculate.
I wouldn't actually mind if Carey got killed off and Quinn emerged as the new main character. It's a great show despite Carey, not because of her.

I was going to to the same as its going to bug me otherwise mcbook said:

I don't know as both of them are playing along a bit too well with none of the 'wink wink' type conversations between Saul and Dar to drop hints that they are on to her.2. Saul has told Dar about this and they're stringing her along, hoping to get access higher up the food-chain

Seemingly Saul only started sleeping with her after the 'hack' as she would have been in Germany and him in the US before this. There was nothing to suggest there was anything going on between them until the scene with them in the same bed and at one point he was (seemingly) going to get her sent back to the US.
Still, at least they haven't made it more confusing by bringing back Brodys wife and the irritating kids just to mix it up a bit.

I thought that she put Carrie's name into the postbox at the behest of her Russian friend. The Russians believe Carrie is dead, so sent a hitman to kill Quinn so that he wouldn't talk to Saul and ask why he wanted Carrie dead – if he had, that would have immediately raised suspicions of a mole within the office at high level.boyse7en said:

That's pretty much my understanding of it. Not sure about why she (or the Russians) wanted Carrie killed though.Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
