I was hoping that even in his utterly messed up state Quinn would retain a bit of the original him, so when the robbery went down he would fall back on training and just automatically either take the gun off that guy and use in on him or just pull his arm off and beat him to death with it.
But he just seems to be utterly ruined.
I do wonder though, would the CIA actually leave a black ops/wet work operator with brain damage in a public VA hospital, rather than either putting him in a private facility or just in a grave? Seems like a risk and we've seen how they deal with risk.

Perhaps one of the nurses is a terrorist and Quinn is REALLY deep undercover...But he just seems to be utterly ruined.
