Not sure what to make of that, felt more like a soap opera, looks like Homeland is still struggling to match the quality of the first two series.

Quinn is so fcked that surely he can't play an effective part anymore, which saddens me a bit!

Obvs massively gambled on Hillary getting in The White House!

I'll stick with it for a while, but it really struggled to hold my attention.

I enjoyed it.

Set up some interesting storylines.

Is he a kid that's just interested in what jihadists have done or is he a jihadist?

Will the boys get 'Hilary' on board or does she have her own agenda?

Quinn?

And will Brodie's kid always be butt ugly and ginger?

They made it look like he had suffered from a stroke (or similar) and/or brain damage. I would like to see how they are going to spin how they cure him and return him to how he was.

I was hoping that even in his utterly messed up state Quinn would retain a bit of the original him, so when the robbery went down he would fall back on training and just automatically either take the gun off that guy and use in on him or just pull his arm off and beat him to death with it.

But he just seems to be utterly ruined.

I do wonder though, would the CIA actually leave a black ops/wet work operator with brain damage in a public VA hospital, rather than either putting him in a private facility or just in a grave? Seems like a risk and we've seen how they deal with risk.

Perhaps one of the nurses is a terrorist and Quinn is REALLY deep undercover...

As well as the gamble on the Hillary piece, did anyone clock who the actress playing POTUS is/was? wink

I enjoyed that first episode. I always liked the slow-burn of Homeland as a refreshing change from the all-action shenanigans of most other series.

Agreed, just not sure I have another series of patience for Carrie's character

It's starting to progress the story, but it is slow-ish.

2 seasons down. 1 season a weekend so far! So far I think it's brilliant

Yeah you're at that point.

I'd probably stop now if I was you. Maybe risk one more season.
