I reckon Dar is gonna turn it around and redeem himself slightly. Still can't see him getting back on with carrie or Saul tho.

I tink so too, whether it's love for Flynn, or being unwilling to be used as a pawn.

Ehh a big chunk of this has been deleted, I guess due to the muppet posting what happened in the finale which we won't see until this Sunday coming.

Agree with the approach, unfortunately some of us have already read it frown

Agree too, it's just bloody frustrating that some idiot freely posted what happened in the finale.

That's why I posted underneath the moron's post to say that although we had seen it in the US it hadn't been aired in the UK yet. I couldn't believe he'd posted that, even under a spoiler.

It wasn't even under a spoiler.

Oh, must have been another. I didn't see that. What a cocksocket.

Mmmmm.... just been looking to see if that post had been removed and it has!
Further up, there was a comment about the finale being shown in the US and asking if the next episode here was the finale which it is.

THEN THE IDIOT POSTED SOMETHING THAT I READ BEFORE I REALISED IT WAS A MAHOOSIVE SPOILER AND I NOW THINK I KNOW WHAT HAPPENS IN TEH FINALE.

Thanks pal!

Oh well; sometimes it is an accident and sometimes it is maybe deliberate? Other times, it is moronic behaviour....

I did the same. Started reading it as I thought that it was a postulation as to what happens in the finale.
I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt and think that it was an honest mistake. I guess if you are in the UK watching it stream on some US channel then it might be easy to forget the time delay in all the excitement...

Either that or he deserves being slapped with a wet haddock until his ears fall off if he did it deliberately smile

Did he delete the post or did the mods remove it?

I think it was deliberate. There is a lot of the "I'll post what I like and if you read it, 'tough'" attitude here.

When the President elect came to Carries house and asked her if Dar had got to her through her daughter, why didn't Carrie just tell her what had happened?
The president would have just sent the secret service to collect her daughter and keep her safe until everything was resolved. A brief investigations would then show Dar influencing the child welfare officer, which would add to the case against him.
Prez elect had already told Carrie it would be abusing her power to intervene (although that was prior to the lets-get-Dar plan) but maybe reason enough to doubt her willingness - quite apart from Dar/CIA having tentacles in everything including probably the Secret Service.

Got the last one still to watch, HL is definitely better when you batch record and batch watch

Nope. When the prez said she wouldn't help Carrie she didn't need her testimony. This would have meant she would have had to act had Carrie asked.
As for Dar having his finger in all the pies. I don't think I have ever seen a film or TV show where either the secret service or FBI have been baddies. It's like it's an unwritten rule in us tv. Happy to be corrected on that though.

Scandal the TV series has had a few dodgy secret service agents

Hmm yeah, Secret Service and FBI tend to be the goodies, and NSA/CIA tend to be baddies, as do ATF.

Anyway, in the final meeting between the President-elect and Dar Adal, what did the President-elect say or do to tip Dar Adal off? I couldn't figure it out.
She was being far too nice & polite to him, which he sensed was out of character. The sly fox that he is.
Amdram acting for that scene, she was ridiculously over the top and Dar did a hilarious Emperor Ming impression.

all caught up and looking forward to finale - Dar doing strange (and unexplained unless I missed it) about turn by investigating shock jock

It's basically because he has been told and seen that things are going on that he hasn't been involved with and that he has an interest in.

I think he really doesn't like being kept out of the loop and he is justifiably suspicious that he is being fked over having done a lot of the hard work in something that is personally hazardous. And he takes all this much more personally than any of the stuff he did to date where it was basically for convenience.

I certainly wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of him.

Having had the finale ruined by our resident nob, I sought it out and have now watched it.

All I will say is…..

I look forward to the post-Sunday discussion
