It's basically because he has been told and seen that things are going on that he hasn't been involved with and that he has an interest in.

I think he really doesn't like being kept out of the loop and he is justifiably suspicious that he is being fked over having done a lot of the hard work in something that is personally hazardous. And he takes all this much more personally than any of the stuff he did to date where it was basically for convenience.

I certainly wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of him.
Pretty much.

Also, Dar wasn't full on with releasing the bullst hatchet job on the dead son, he finally agreed to that when it was presented as a done deal/no other option....he has been led by the Alex Jones type....which might explain my critique of that character earlier on.

FINALE BELOW...

Well, i think this series has been a big improvement over the usual terror plot, although it had that theme initially.

Anyway, sorry to see a main character killed off, although i'm not sure how it could have continued really.

Great stuff.

It does not surprise me. The man's a prize plum.

Don't recall seeing the name before, but it's a good name to go on the block list. biggrin

Great end to the series. You never know what's next with this show.

Glad I didn't see the spoiler in this thread, as I can assume I know what it was about.

Next season will be interesting. Carrie shut out by the president and all of her trusted team either dead, in jail or alcoholic. What's a girl to do?

Very slow start the season but boy it became unmissable as it began to warm up. Sad to see Quinn die but maybe it brings some closure to his plight.

Interested to see where it's heading in the next season.

Who else thought that a drunken Mikey was going to ruin the home visit by the child services woman?

That made that scene so tense, it may have seemed to obvious, but just after what we'd been through the tension was still high. Even when she went out, I thought he might stumble out the low level entrance. biggrin

excellent excellent series, one of the better ones. I almost went full conspiracy nut at the end and was expecting the Prez to chat to Alex JOnes.

So has Keane gone totally paranoid or is she being manipulated, or has she just been on her own agenda all along - albeit she did seem genuinely upset by Quinn's sacrifice (Quinn could have ducked down a bit and still been able to drive!).

Dar's words to Saul about Keane seeming to him to be 'un-American' - was he right all along?

I was convinced child services woman was going to say at the last minute - oh, nearly forgot - can I see your basement? A perfect example of Hitchcock's ticking bomb.

One thing that I can't get my head round is how the drawling accent of Brett O'Keefe (played by Jake Weber) occasionally veers off into a kind of Australian twang. A google search suggests he's actually a Brit, but went to college in Vermont so he's been there a long time.

Quinn and Brodie - both Brits - did a better job on the accent!

I thought Jake had the same accent he's always had in stuff I've seen him in, Dawn of the Dead as an example.

Same. I couldn't understand at first why an Australian seemed to be so bothered about America. Until I realised he was supposed to be a yank.

His accent was quite different in Hell on Wheels.

Brilliant show but have really pissed me off killing Quinn. I think they let his character down. Such a bass ass dies a broken man! Mrs B is double pissed smile

Not quite as bad as the shafting by the writers of LOST but it hurt

I think he had lost too much to continue. This vindicated him slightly. I also liked how they blurred the lines at the end with the President and Dar.
