Well in the bit they show in the C4 trailer he sounds Australian.

His accent really does wander the globe.

Pfft just watched episode 1 series 7 and I'm baffled! Who is Carrie working for now? I don't even know who the bad guys are any more.
Can't we get back to drones taking out bad guys (you know, brown ones) and American agents (Quinn, Brodie) being generally Bond-like and heroic?

The shock jock guy is hilarious though!

Well, I'm in, and yah boo sucks to those who have been whingeing about Claire Danes' performance for seven series. Seriously chaps, you could just stop watching it.

I was genuinely excited last night when I remembered Homeland was back.

Watched it, was confused for the first few minutes until I got my bearings, and then realised why I love it so much.

Oh, and by the end of the episode I wanted to hit Carrie in the face as hard as possible. Preferably with a crowbar.

So it's good to know nothing has changed! biggrin

I was slightly under-whelmed - maybe because I have just watched the last six seasons in a proper binge watch! I did not understand who the FBI guy was (is it a different actor) and like others, who Carrie is working for. The teenage daughter (Carrie's niece?) seems to have grown up a lot.

It did remind me though how good a character (I mean nasty of course) T-Bag was.

Shaping up to be another Carrie is crazy cos she's off her meds vs Carrie is the only one that knows the truth and will fight the system to bring it out.

I really want that shock jock to be taken down hard. If nothing else just keep punching him until he chooses an accent.

Just caught up with ep1; had to quickly read up Wikipedia on the finale of last season just to remind myself what had happened.

Good opener and as said nice to see Max back. T-Bone being killed ‘North Korean’ style was a nice touch.

Will Dante be the new Quinn / Brody?

Maybe I'm watching another show because that second episode was some dull crap.

What? I honestly can't remember the last time I felt as bored watching the show.

Just please, as, presumably, reasonable fellow human beings, bear in mind that this is largely a UK-centric forum, and most of us either don't live abroad and/or don't stream stuff in advance, so don't comment on episodes until after the UK airing, or even drop veiled hints.

As mentioned above, last year some utter tool came on here and, perhaps gleefully, perhaps maliciously, told us all that Quinn had been killed, before we'd seen that episode. Don't be that guy.

It's not big, it's not clever and it's really not a massive ask.

Quite understand but comments relate subjective opinion, not storylines, nor even veiled hints to such. It's been mentioned before but if people are worried about spoilers why not be a bit more proactive and avoid the forum 'til you've seen the episode? Possibly being a bit unrealistic expecting not a single whisper from people who've already seen the ep. Which TV channel is it on anyway? Sky?

I think it is more related to people posting about episodes which have not yet been shown on UK TV.
