Heh, poor guy was toast as soon as he arranged the face to face. Can't help thinking it was just a bit of gratuitous arse-kicking though, unless his laptop becomes germane to the plot.
It can't possibly be the last of that thread, surely...?
With any luck it is.

I'd rather put it down to some tedious and dumb crap for one episode than trying to continue it at all.

To be honest all this stuff with the president is all a bit dull. I can only recall being this annoyed with the show when Brody's horrific daughter was throwing her tantrums and the like.

Who do I complain to about not getting to see Carrie's tits?
I fear you may have been slightly disappointed if you did see them...

Just watched episode 2 on catch up. Now, this whole thing with Saul being appointed the new National Security Advisor - either POTUS knew he was on her side (and she wouldn't have imprisoned him) or she thought he was guilty (in which case she'd never make him the main man).
I found the whole "OK release all of them and give Saul the top job" thing just plain daft. Although, chucking 200 senior intelligence staff in prison seems pretty unlikely too.
Also, can anyone explain to me exactly what happened to General McLendon? Also; whodunnit?
It's all nonsense but quite enjoyable.

He got poisoned by the prison guard - he had something on his gloves during oral inspection

50 minutes of dross followed by a few minutes of action. Good ending though, I was contemplating ditching it but will stick with it.
How much to make sure I don't tell the wife you said that?

I suppose it doesn't matter now, but at the time, bet the general was glad of it being oral first, then the anal inspection.

Bit of a slow start but things are certainly gaining some pace now.

I recognised who they cast as the guy who went into the hospital which is probably a spoiler to roughly who is doing stuff to stir it all up.

THat was an amazing episode, a real shocker...I wasn't disappointed that the aholes at channel fkwit four ruined it by instantly talking over the credits, about some other aholes....

They could easily drop Carrie and make it all about Saul. She seems to be more useless each episode.

The producers love the Brits. So far we've had Damian Lewis, David Harewood, Rupert Friend, Linus Roache, Jake Weber and now James D'Arcy. All playing Americans. Have I missed anyone?
