Heh, poor guy was toast as soon as he arranged the face to face. Can't help thinking it was just a bit of gratuitous arse-kicking though, unless his laptop becomes germane to the plot.
It can't possibly be the last of that thread, surely...?I'd rather put it down to some tedious and dumb crap for one episode than trying to continue it at all.
To be honest all this stuff with the president is all a bit dull. I can only recall being this annoyed with the show when Brody's horrific daughter was throwing her tantrums and the like.
Just watched episode 2 on catch up. Now, this whole thing with Saul being appointed the new National Security Advisor - either POTUS knew he was on her side (and she wouldn't have imprisoned him) or she thought he was guilty (in which case she'd never make him the main man).
I found the whole "OK release all of them and give Saul the top job" thing just plain daft. Although, chucking 200 senior intelligence staff in prison seems pretty unlikely too.
Also, can anyone explain to me exactly what happened to General McLendon? Also; whodunnit?
It's all nonsense but quite enjoyable.

Who do I complain to about not getting to see Carrie's tits? This is C4, after the watershed, I expected more!
50 minutes of dross followed by a few minutes of action. Good ending though, I was contemplating ditching it but will stick with it.
How much to make sure I don't tell the wife you said that?50 minutes of dross followed by a few minutes of action. Good ending though, I was contemplating ditching it but will stick with it.
