It is great. Damien Lewis is fab in any show, but Clare Danes does very well too. Very exciting!
My highest compliment is that I did not even recognise Clare Danes until the 3rd or 4th episode. She's learned to avoid that sad/whiny look and tone that mars(for me) many of her previous performances.

Who thought it moved slowly? It may but I was slowly on the edge of my seat trying to anticipate the next event!

About to give this a go, going to watch last weeks episode on 'catch up'.

Out of curiosity, why's the OP been deleted?

I did the same this evening - it was keeping my attention when I was supposed to be writing up my OU coursework (not sure if that is a good or bad thing!)

When is the next episode due to be broadcast?

Just this minute finished watching the first episode. Next one is on tomorrow night I believe.

It was good, I shall continue with it. That blonde is a nutter!

So let me get this right then, just so I can understand and we are all clear, what you are in fact saying is that...that blonde is a woman?

Holy smoke, I am several minutes into the second episode and I have only just realised that Inigo Montoya is in it!

Was just thinking the same thing, or at least, had the money of an oil shake.

Once had a discussion with a mate about if he won the euromillions, he would offer the same sort of job opportunities for young models.

Funny actually, I've not read the spoiler and don't wish to know, I was thinking earlier that if this turns out to be just another 'Lost Season 1' yank style drama,

with no definitive ending, I shall be VERY underwhelmed. irked

I struggle with the basic premise of this.

I would think that in such a situation, where a serviceman has been gone for so long in the company of known terrorists, there is NO WAY ON EARTH that the US intelligence services would not have been all over this guy like a rash.

I do NOT believe the premise that only a lone, troubled individual would want to check that he had not been turned. I do not believe that the CIA would not be evesdropping on every moment of that guys life.

The plot is just not credible. I think in reality, the story would be about how the CIA and other security services would invade every moment of someones life if they suspected there was even a small chance that he may have been turned.

I thought it was OK, but once you find out whether or not he has been turned, the drama peters out.

Can't see where it will go for season 2, unless into a 'Lost' style never-ending contrived non-story.

Not only has it got Inigo Montoya in it (which is clearly awesome) but the second episode also had David St Hubbins of Spinal Tap fame!

I love it so far, think Clare Danes and Damian Lewis are both excellent, enjoying the development of it, really like the high quality American production (something UK shows rarely match) and not really sure how it'll turn out at all.

All in all looking forward to the next episode smile

Prior to this being broadcast in the US, I saw a preview trailer which made it look meh so when it started in the UK, I was in no rush to watch it.

Started watching it last week and am really enjoying it so far but am a litle un-sure how they are going to extend the premise beyond one season/series.

Have read some articles that mention it is a re-make of an Israeli series, Hatufim, which is due to be broadcast on Sky Arts in May: http://skyarts.sky.com/prisoners-of-war-hatufim

If you like Homeland then 'Breaking Bad' is a must-see.
