One of the good things about PH is that I can record the start of a series like Homeland then check to see whether there is any consensus on here about whether it's cr4p or not. It's fair to assume that a good proportion of the PH demographic is similar to me in many ways. Then if everybody on here thinks it is rubbish/boring or whatever then I can at least make some sort of informed choice about whether to waste a few hours of my life or not.

I suspect I won't be wasting my life watching Homeland S4, but you never know smile

I watched it all whilst it was on TV, but I've currently binge watched series 1-3 again and enjoyed it more. It seemed to move along quicker which was good.

Don't quite know where they will take S4 but looking forward to it.

I find the PH collective too eclectic in their love of shows. There is much love of procedurals on here which I cannot stand.

Have just watched the first 2 episodes. Episode 1 was very good but found 2 a bit slow going. I'm not missing Brody at all.

Is it really ok? Maybe I will have to continue watching. I did always like Saul a lot. Great character.

Really loving homeland blitzed it on Netflix and watched the first ep of season 4 last night, I have to say they way they finished season 3 should of been it for me. Making more seems pointless.

Personally I think they should have blown up Brody with the VP and left it as a standalone series. It would have been an epic addition to the pantheon of great TV shows. Just feels like they are dragging it out now. Mind you I'm still watching... rolleyes

I've seen the first two and going to watch the third tonight. I'd say it looks promising, better than season 3 started.

I thought the first episode was dull. I really find it difficult to empathise with Carrie, I just don't like her. I also don't dislike her enough to want it to go wrong for her. It's just a bit "meh" for me at the moment.

Still watching though...

Hopefully it's going to focus more on the subterfuge and action rather than the domestic/family stuff. First episode was good, a bit like 24 in the middle east, no bad thing! I know it has to be multidimensional, but the last series had far too much of both Carrie and Brodie's family angst. Just my opinion.

Yeah, get rid of the family nonsense.
Carrie is a great actor, more of her and the Flynn guy.

Stretching credibility for a pilot to identify her, track her down in a cafe and call the Kabul station a bunch of monsters ..... felt a hand of bleeding heart liberals starting to steer this series. Hope I'm wrong.

Just watched ep 3. Really enjoying this series, back to how I felt about series 1.
