Good episode but the Saul thing was a total red herring and other than Carrie gaining a bit of knowledge we're back exactly where we were before. Could do better.

Oh good grief what I've stated is more personal opinion than fact!

Ok apologies, I thought you were talking about episode 5 on the US schedule as others had been. Most of us are only up to Ep4.

In the UK the Jihadi's still have Saul, we don't know what they're going to do with him yet - so how is it a Red Herring?

I hated him in the previous season, as you were meant to, but I agree.

Is it just me or is this season fast becoming much better than the last two.

It's not just you, the last ones were so slow moving.
My wife is even watching the current series, the others she found too slow and meandering.

Nope, this season is far better than the last one.

Although, there is a direct correlation for season 3 of how rubbish each episode was with how much it featured Brody's daughter, the more she was in it, the worse the episode. Quite possibly one of the most annoying characters ever.

The latest episode is very good.

One thing which is annoying is that every so called Pakistani speaks with a different English accent - it looks like they just found a bunch of English and Indian actors but no actual Pakistanis laugh

nice to see that the ambassadors husband has been exposed - although I do wonder why that Pakistani intelligence officer disclosed the info to Carrie
Girlfriend asked me this, but as noted above (and I told her) - they'll have gone to private school in England. Makes perfect sense really.
The appalling Urdu they speak with a strong English accent is properly annoying...

Love the Chief doing what we would all love to do when diplomats get together, then just playing with his phone afterwards.

Most of the Pakistani people with English accents are high ranking gov officials, most of whom would most likely have gone to university in England. Not too far fetched IMO.

Serious request - can we all be very careful with the spoilers here please and bear in mind that a significant number of us on this thread (I'd suspect the majority of us?) are watching the UK schedule not the US. The start of last night's UK episode was already ruined by a comment made last week.

Or - equally serious request - can we split the thread in two so that those on the UK schedule can stay away from comments on episodes screened earlier in the US?

Thanks in advance - I'm not griping, it's just that a programme which relies heavily on suspense for it's enjoyment is easily ruined if the plot lines are revealed in advance.
