Anyone think this series edges it over the first? It's pretty close IMO with the first season just edging it so far, but this one has been fantastic! Can't wait for the next episode

Had that very discussion today at work. Personally, I think the first just edges it, this one has been excellent so far though, and with more episodes still to come it could well surpass it.

I'd agree with that - the scene in the first series with brody wearing a vest in the bunker was proper sweaty palm viewing to name but one...

this series hasn't quite got to that level yet although I'm expecting great things of episode 9 by all accounts....
