Great tonight but very nearly infuriating if it wasn't for the payoff at the end. Nice to see they're not going to drag that storyline out.

I foresee Carrie working with Saul as in independent unit to unearth Brody and the other mole. Hopefully the end of "mental Carrie" now too as that was driving me nuts.
Saul for a car "accident" next week, I think.

Thought tonights episode was a bit of a nothing episode in some ways. Some good acting by claire danes aside. If Saul doesn't die soon I'll be suprised!

Brody in the woods though - it was like a Mr. Bean episode with killing. biggrin

I thought the same - it was almost a parody of Laurel and Hardy!

I really hope that I am wrong, but I hope Saul does NOT confront Brody alone and show him his suicide video, so Brody can then kill him, too - leaving the Clair Danes to tell the authorities the truth - you just know how that would pan out...

Please, Homeland, don't be that transparent....

Quick question but where's the son? I haven't seen him in the 2nd season

Well, there goes my theory that Saul had been turned. The story has 2 ways to go over the next couple of episodes - either Saul gets clipped or the re-turning of Brody gets started.

We watched the first season over a few nights to be ready for season two and although I've been itching to see the next episode every time, I'm beginning to feel they're stretching it out a bit now. If they do kill off Saul and leave Carrie back at square one, then I'll probably switch it off and not bother watching again.

Which equals 2...

So presumably they will try to turn him, and that will all go horribly wrong at some point

He does pop up in the 4th episode. I had wondered this to myself too...

After watching Stardust tonight, I find I am quiet attracted to Ms Danes. She isn't someone I would normally go for but after watching her there is something about here that is appealing.

That might be it.

I feel like I want to give her a hug...but then she might try and smash a vase round my noggin.

my OH thought this weeks' ep was excellent - me less so, i still don't buy the love story element but hey ho, still good viewing.

the plot is getting thicker than a great big pan of blended vegetable broth...

clare danes - certified hottie though - I deffo would.

I can see Brody and the VP falling out over the car accident and it reigniting his hatred for him - the VP will want Dana to take the fall for the accident.

Lewis plays it so well though....truth, lies, truth... we're still not quite sure and thankfully a proper grown up series...

full marks

Danes just comes across as a wide eyed hysterical OCD in this though, (yes, that is the aim of her character, I realise that)
