I'm really enjoying it so far. I like the fact that not every character is instantly likeable - I get fed up of the one-dimensional ciphers most dramas use. I don't necessarily have, or want, to like Carrie, i just need her to be reasonably believable as her character.

There are also plenty of red herring scenes, which is great, you are never sure whether an off-the-cuff remark is essential to the plot or not.

I am seriously struggling with this. I can't get into it. I can't stand Carrie or Quinn

Very few characters I like, Saul is probably an exception - however, I find all of them interesting.

Anyone just see a rover Sd1 in the background?? They may hate us westerners, but they love our cars...

Aayan is proving particularly whiny, I'm hoping he meets his maker sooner rather than later.

That modern jazz theme tune is driving me NUTS! Forget waterboarding, five minutes of that being played at me by the CIA and I'd admit to anything!

Just seen the latest episode (as per the US schedule).

Carrie's latest 'episode' yikes

Swapping Carrie's meds round was ingenious - but why is the ambassador's husband so eager to help the Pakistani authorities? There isn't even much arm twisting going on.

He was feeding information that he got from the ambassador's office to the Pakistani ISI. They threatened to expose him which would have finished the ambassador's career.

The last 5 minutes of this week's episode will blow your mind.. .

This is certainly far better than last season. I find myself wanting bad things to happen to Carrie now though.

Just finished S1-3, really enjoyed the first 2 seasons there was plenty of intrigue and you could never quite be sure who to trust, but season 3 was dreadful imo, all the characters were one dimensional and just played out their role; that was the key problem for me. Won't be bothering with season 4.
Season 4's much better than 3 imo. Worth sticking with it wink

I'm on the UK version, and all through last night's episode I knew what was going to happen since Channel 4 pretty much gave it away in the trailer.

The latest episode is very good.

One thing which is annoying is that every so called Pakistani speaks with a different English accent - it looks like they just found a bunch of English and Indian actors but no actual Pakistanis laugh

nice to see that the ambassadors husband has been exposed - although I do wonder why that Pakistani intelligence officer disclosed the info to Carrie

Most of the Pakistani people with English accents are high ranking gov officials, most of whom would most likely have gone to university in England. Not too far fetched IMO.

Girlfriend asked me this, but as noted above (and I told her) - they'll have gone to private school in England. Makes perfect sense really.
