This weeks (US) episode is excellent.
yes

Someone isn't as wholesome as they make out, i think.
For fks sake, how many times! No mention of anything from US episodes.
Oh come on. He's hardly given anything away as none of them are particularly wholesome unless you think her kid has turned into some IS terrorist

I knew it! Like father, like daughter.

BTW, wouldn't that rifle shot have ripped Quinn apart? He seemed to be a bit agile a few seconds later. He is a double-hard ba$t4rd though.

Honestly it's not that difficult. Don't talk about the show if it's not been screened in the UK.

I don't want to know if the next episode is great or rubbish or anything.

I don't want little snippets dropped in.

I come on the thread to see what people think about the most recent episode and discuss things.

If people want to talk about the US episode set up a new thread. People know to avoid it.

I did wonder that. Shot wasn't from very far away, and it looked like quite a handy rifle, certainly no BB gun. Still, I have no idea what calibre bullet, bullet proof vests can stop, and he's been shot before, I'm sure he's used to it. biggrin

This thread has been running for approx 3 years, with input from people who watch the UK & the US episodes.

Yes, i admit i neglected to use a spoiler tag but as i explained, what i posted wasn't exactly giving anything away.

Yes. And the rule is the same now as it has always been. No discussion until it's aired in the UK.

Is it just me, or does the 'Jazz' get annoying?
Nope, I can't stand it either, like fingernails down a balckboard. We have started watching it on catch-up a few minutes behind so we can FFWD through it.

The improv jazz music - as a title theme, and also usually as an accompaniment to scenes with Carrie, is obviously designed to reflect her wacky free form chaotic bipolar mind. However I just find it gets right on my tits
Yeah I've always hated the into music too.
Guess it just goes to prove we all like different things; I love it, I think it's far better than the usual Philip Glass derived crap that many series and shows seem to like using.

You could hardly take a high powered rifle shot from that up close and get up that quickly!
Nonsense, his magic 'TV' vest will stop anything and it wont even register smile
Makes you wonder why people bother with the plates when you just need to wear a heavy weight stab type vest to stop a rifle bullet At less than 100yrds
In addition:

1. Why did the suicide bomber have a button to press to activate the bomb. I thought they were usually the other way around to prevent a single shot disarming it.
2. Would Sol really sleep with the station chief. You don't that far in life by being / stupid things.
3. Why would the CIA employ someone with Bipolar disorder in the first place.
4. Everything else that is unrealistic in the show.
5. Why didn't she just shoot him in the head?

I think surviving a "high power" rifle shot from short range is the least of these issues.

Actually the thread began with people discussing the US viewings, presumably downloaded.

Similar to other threads, such as BB, if you don't want any unexpected information on forthcoming episodes in your region then it's best to avoid the thread altogether. Whilst it's polite not to give any prior info away, people make mistakes... .

Perhaps the safest thing is to spoiler everything? That way there's no risk at all

Amateur hour for Flynn, can't believe he left himself open to attack like that - twice in two episodes now!

Are we thinking that the CIA station chief that Saul is shagging has gone a bit 'off-book' and Saul doesn't have a clue? Both the Carrie hit and the bomb on the plane?

My theory is that she is working for the Israeli's on the side (they wanted the general dead - she had opportunity to make that happen) Also they want Carrie dead for talking to Hamas/ assorted enemies.

So, what about people that haven't had chance to watch the latest UK episode?

Stay out of the thread until you have.

The concept of spoilers is really rather simple.
